Solar-powered LED lighting for streets, paths and places -- it's more than just light

Light is like fire one of the most significant phenomena for all cultures.

Today, artificially generate light from lamps allows people to have a com-

fortable and safe life even in terrestrial darkness and in covered areas.

The support for this lamp, forms with it one luminaire “Light" and "lumi-

naire" are used as symbols for intelligence whereby we are approximating

the topic of the meaning of artificial light.

Knowledge means power is a common folk expression. Particularly in

African and Asian regions, artificial light means gaining knowledge and

therefore, autonomy.

Safety is in context to quality of life and it contributes to the reduction

of criminal acts and it helps avoid injuries. Therefore, safety is part

of one's own quality of life.

Solar light is more flexible than no other. It is quickly available, ecologi-

cal and it requires a minimum impact into the environment. It is insect

neutral and feeds on "free" energy. In addition, is has a very specific role

model effect in the northern hemisphere, which accelerates the indispen-

sable learning process in the energy industry.

Solutions of our company are based on the principle of innovation.

The shingle string technology helps to achieve outputs and efficiencies,

which ensures lighting even under continuous poor light conditions. This

is particularly significant in our northern hemisphere.

In general, all photinus technologies work technically well if used

south of the 50th latitude.

The choice of the "correct" solar-powered LED light depends on the need.

Nearly every photinus technology can be used in northern regions, pro-

vided they are not required to provide permanent lighting during the win-

ter months as for example on campgrounds. Contrary to many "assump-

tions", our solar-powered LED lights work well even in the winter in

northern regions if used properly.

Application

Next to the large TOWERSUN 128, the TOWERSUN

64 ensures a high supply safety even in regions with

critical weather.

The solar-powered light TOWERSUN 64 is a solar-

powered street light, which can be used anywhere

without power supply and where the demand on a

high supply safety is mandated even in bad light

conditions. The cubic aluminum construction with 4

photovoltaic modules can generate sufficient energy

through the diffuse light portion specifically in re-

gions with bad weather. The vertically arranged

modules prevent snow deposits in the winter. Clever

power savings' functions ensure that the light is

working safely for several nights even during bad

weather conditions. In accordance with DIN

EN13201, based on its light output TOWERSUN 64 is

perfectly suited for residential streets, secondary

road, parking spaces, etc.

Function

The integrated battery is charged during the day

through 4 photovoltaic modules and at dawn, this

energy is used for the efficient operation of the LED

head.

Options

In addition to the pole color anthracite, TOWERSUN

64 can be ordered for a surcharge in large projects in

other RAL colors.

PH-TOWER-LIGHT The little one in the TOWER family

Application

In addition to its large sisters TOWERSUN 128 and

TOWERSUN 64, for smaller lighting requirements,

TOWER-LIGHT supplements this family perfectly. The

tried and tested TOWER concept with PV surfaces

being arranged on 4 sides ensures sufficient sun is

entering and it prevents the disrupting impact of

snow deposits on the diagonally set PV surface.

In accordance with DIN EN13201, TOWER LIGHT is

perfectly suited for lighting classes S5 and S6, i.e.

for secondary roads with low traffic volume, places,

parking places, etc.

Function

As a standard, the specifically developed energy

management calculates the optimum LED control to

dim the light in defined time periods, if needed. The

additionally integrated time management (from the

factory without surcharge) allows the customer to

select from three setting (V1-V3). The TOWER LIGHT

is delivered as standard with a heat-resistant

battery. The modular installation concept allows set-

ting up the TOWER LIGHT with the optional ground

anchor within one hour.

Options

To satisfy various lighting situation, this light is

available in two different versions of LED heads

(place and paths).

In addition to the standard anthracite color, the

TOWER LIGHT can be delivered in other RAL colors

for large projects and for an additional charge.

Anwendung

Bei der STATIONSUN III handelt es sich um eine so-

larbetriebene LED-Lichtlösung für exponierte Orte

ohne Stromversorgung. Damit eignet sich die STA-

TIONSUN III ideal für Bushaltestellen, Unterführun-

che etc.

Funktion

Die robuste und wetterfeste Aluminium Photovoltaik-

Säule mit Schindeltechnologie wird beschattungsfrei

auf oder neben dem zu beleuchtenden Objekt befes-

tigt. Durch die an allen 4 Seiten vorhandenen Solar-

module entfällt die exakte Ausrichtung nach Süden.

PH-STREETSUN Design-Solarleuchte

Anwendung

Bei der Design-Solarleuchte STREETSUN handelt es

sich um eine solarbetriebene LED-Lichtlösung, die

überall dort zum Einsatz kommt, wo eine Netzstrom-

versorgung fehlt. Durch das preisgekrönte zeitlose

Design eignet sich die STREETSUN für Beleuchtungen

des modernen städtischen Raums ebenso wie für

denkmalgeschützte Bauten. Die ausgeklügelte Steue-

rung stellt selbst bei schlechtem Wetter die einwand-

freie Funktion über mehrere Nächte hinaus sicher.

Gemäß DIN EN13201 eignet sich die STREETSUN

hervorragend für die Beleuchtungsklassen S5 und S6

d.h. für Nebenstraßen mit geringem Verkehrsauf-

kommen, Plätze, Parkplätze etc.

Funktion

Durch das modulare Montage-Konzept kann die

STREETSUN mit dem optionalen Bodendübel inner-

halb einer Stunde aufgestellt und ausgerichtet wer-

den. Um auf verschiedene Ausleuchtsituationen ein-

gehen zu können, sind zwei LED-Kopf-Varianten

(Platz und Wege) erhältlich. Standardmäßig berech-

net das speziell entwickelte Energiemanagement die

optimale LED-Ansteuerung, um bei Bedarf das Licht

in definierten Zeiträumen zu dimmen und somit eine

Energiereserve von bis zu 3 Nachtlängen zu gewähr-

leisten. Das zusätzlich integrierte Zeitmanagement

erlaubt dem Kunden ohne Aufpreis (ab Werk) aus 3

Einstellungen zu wählen und durch nächtliches Dim-

men bzw. Abschalten die Reserve auf bis zu 4 Nacht-

längen auszudehnen. Die STREETSUN wird stan-

dardmäßig mit einem hitzefesten Akku (bis zu 60°C)

ausgeliefert.

PH-WORKSUN LED Solarleuchte mit variablen, technischen

Möglichkeiten

Anwendung

Die WORKSUN ist eine flexible solare LED-Außen-

leuchte mit verschiedenen technischen Möglichkeiten

modular aufbaubar. Die Leuchte funktioniert ganz

ohne Strom, dadurch sind keine Verkabelungsarbei-

ten notwendig. Durch die kurzen Auf- und Abbauzei-

ten eignet sich die WORKSUN hervorragend auch für

den temporären Einsatz überall dort wo eine kabello-

se Straßenbeleuchtung benötigt wird, wie auf Bau-

stellen, Parkplätzen, Zufahrten, Events im Freien,

etc.

Die hocheffiziente LED Beleuchtung der WORKSUN

erfüllt die länderspezifischen, lichttechnischen Anfor-

derungen der DIN13201 für Seitenstraßen, Neben-

wege und Plätze.

Funktion

Der integrierte Akku wird über das am Kopf befestig-

te Solarmodul tagsüber automatisch aufgeladen. Bei

Einbruch der Dämmerung wird der LED-Kopf auto-

matisch aktiviert.

PH-PLAIN (ohne Mast)

Anwendung

Die PLAIN ist konzipiert als robuste Solarleuchte im

Baukasten-Prinzip. Sie besteht aus Modulhalter, LED-

Lichtteil, Akku & Steuerung sowie einem optionalen

Mast. Die hochwertigen Komponenten sind optimal

aufeinander abgestimmt, um beste lichttechnische

Ergebnisse sicherzustellen.

Das Design überzeugt neben den gefälligen geradli-

nigen Formen zudem durch kompakte Abmessungen,

die sich in minimierter Verpackung und Transport

niederschlagen. Durch den gewählten Aufbau ist es

möglich, verschiedenste Norm-Masten zu verwenden.

Die PLAIN Solarleuchte wurde für Aufstellungsorte

entwickelt, an denen

- kein Stromnetz zu Verfügung steht.

- die Wahrscheinlichkeit einstrahlungsarmer Tage

hintereinander klein ist.

Funktion

Die PLAIN Solarleuchte speichert am Tag die Energie

des Sonnenlichts in Form von elektrischer Energie in

den Batterien. Die so gewonnene elektrische Energie

steht nachts zur Verfügung, um die LEDs im Lichtteil

zu betreiben.

Da an fast jedem Aufstellungsort Zeiten mit geringe-

rer Sonneneinstrahlung auftreten, besteht die Mög-

lichkeit durch Programmeinstellungen (siehe Energie

und Zeitmanagement) die zur Verfügung stehende

Energie einzuteilen.

Jede Solarleuchte kann nur eine bestimmte Menge an Energie unter Tags speichern. An

den meisten Aufstellungsorten gibt es Zeiten, in denen die Dauer und Intensität der Son-

neneinstrahlung nicht mehr ausreicht, um soviel Energie zu speichern, dass die Leuchte

mit 100% Leistung eine ganze Nacht lang betrieben werden kann.

Für die PLAIN gibt es deshalb verschiedene Programmeinstellungen (siehe Tabelle), die

es ermöglichen, zu bestimmten Nachtzeiten Energie zu sparen.

Bei allen Solarleuchten ist ein Ausschalten aufgrund zu geringer Sonnenein-

strahlung nicht auszuschließen!
