Write your first and last name, today’s date, and the period you have civics in the upper-right hand corner of the paper. Title the paper “The Preamble to the United States Constitution”.
Number your paper from one to nine, but skip two spaces between each line. Please do not write on the back of the paper.

On your paper, you will need to write the nine lines of the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution.
You should have numbered your paper from 1 to 9, skipping two spaces between each number. You will need that space later!
I will read and reread the Preamble. It will also be on the board.
You must write the Preamble on your paper.
When you are done writing, read the Preamble out loud until everyone is reciting it.
