1 Introduction Pilot Fleet Unify is a multi-technology and fully autonomous system for remote wireless network
services testing, network tuning, benchmarking and monitoring, centralized probe and test case
management, as well as automated post processing and reporting. Pilot Fleet Unify supports the
entire DingLi’s drive test portfolio, including Pilot Pioneer, Pilot Walktour, Pilot Scout, Pilot
RCU, and Pilot Walktour Pack. All data collected by DingLi’s data collection solution will be
centrally stored and managed for post processing and analysis purposes.

2 New Features and Devices
2.1 4G Benchmarking Report
4G Benchmarking Report is supported in this version for voice, data, and value-added services
tests. Comparison with 3G Benchmarking Report, 4G Benchmarking Reports supports more test
services statistics for 2/3/4G network technologies.
1. For voice service tests, the statistics include
call setup
dropped call
key KPIs (based on threshold range)
GIS rendering
2. For data and value-added services, multiple services are supported including
FTP
HTTP
PING
SMS
MMS
CSFB
Video Play
The statistics results include call setup success rate, dropped call rate, delay, throughput, key
KPIs (based on threshold range), GIS rendering, etc.

2.2 VoLTE Report
VoLTE Report is supported for VoLTE service tests in this version. The statistics results include:
1. Call Setup, Dropped Call, SIP Registration, RRC, Attach, Handover
2. PDCP, RLC, and MAC throughput
3. RSRP, RSSI, SINR, PCI, and RAT duration (LTE, WCDMA, GSM)

2.3 PBM Report
PBM Report is supported for PBM service tests in this version. The statistics results include:
1. PBM setup success and failure events, and corresponding time of each event
2. PBM uplink and downlink throughput, Packet loss, RSRP, SINR
3. PBM Downlink/Uplink Bandwidth Coverage

2.4 Smart Analysis Functions (Optional)
Based on test data and cell site database, the Smart Analysis function is used to analyze network
problems through the analysis of measurement samples, events, parameters, etc.
Pilot Fleet Unify provides 15 LTE only default analysis templates, which can be used to generate
the required analysis results. A customized analysis function is also available for users to define
analysis templates based on their own sets of rules or conditions. The default analysis templates
include:
• LTE Recurring No Coverage
• LTE Recurring Poor Coverage
• LTE Recurring Bad Quality
• LTE Recurring No Dominant Serving Cell
• LTE Recurring Overlapping Coverage
• LTE Recurring MOD3 Interference
• LTE Neighbor Cell Interference
• LTE Recurring Low FTP DL Throughput
• CSFB Dropped Call Analysis
• CSFB Blocked Call Analysis
• LTE FTP Dropped Analysis
• LTE Frequent Handover Analysis
• LTE Handover Failure Analysis
• Pilot Pollution Analysis
• PCI Coverage Analysis

Note: Dingli also offers a Customized Analysis Service based on requirement specifications
given by customers. Please consult Dingli Sales within your region for additional information
and a quote.
2.5 LTE Data Service Report (CA)
LTE Data Service Report (CA) is supported for FTP service tests, for statistics generation on
throughput, delay, handover, resource scheduling, etc. The results include:
1. KPI Summary
2. CA Performance KPIs
3. CA Configuration Details
4. CA Handover Details
5. Scheduling Statistics (Pcell)
6. Coverage Statistics
7. Interference Statistics
8. Handover KPIs
Note: CA indicates Carrier Aggregation.

2.6 Pilot Unify Lite
Pilot Unify Lite is an application that can be installed on Android-based handsets for users to
easily monitor test devices and important KPIs. The handset may send requests to Pilot Fleet
Unify and have the statistics results delivered.
The main functions provided by this application include:
New Features and Devices

1. Device monitoring: Users may monitor online device count, online device position, device
alarms, real-time test routes, etc.
2. KPI statistics:
a. City:
For voice service tests, users may view coverage rate, call setup success ratio,
dropped call ratio, etc.;
For data service tests, users may view coverage rate, FTP DL THR≥300kbps Ratio,
etc.
b. Highway: Users may view various information including
coverage in different time range
call setup success ratio
dropped call per distance
c. KPI Comparison: Users may view KPIs for different operators, including
coverage ratio
call setup success ratio
dropped call ratio
average download and upload throughput

2. Fixed the bug where online device information is inaccurate in the device status statistics.
Hardware and OS Requirements

4 Hardware and OS Requirements
4.1 Hardware Requirements
The server configuration of Pilot Fleet Unify depends on the number of test terminals connected
and the data volume that has to be processed. If users need to connect multiple test terminals and
process large volumes of data, users may deploy different services on more than one server (for
example, deploy Web service, Database service, Data analysis service on different servers), or
deploy multiple data analysis servers to expand the system processing capability.
Server requirements (one unit):
CPU: Two processors, with Intel(R) Xeon(R) 2.4 GHz, eight-core or higher
Memory: 32 GB or larger
Hard disk space:
Each server should be configured with a SSD SATAIII hard disk with at least 128 GB space
for operating system installation.
For other hard disks, use SAS/SATAIII-RAID 0 hard disks.
Network adapter: Two 100 MB Ethernet adapters and a static IP address to access public
networks.
Recommended configuration:
Less than 20 RCUs (one RCU may include one to eight test modules): one server
100 RCUs: at least three servers
200 RCUs: at least five servers
500 RCUs: at least seven servers
Note: Please contact Dingli's technical engineers for advice on system or servers dimensioning.
4.2 Operating System Requirements
Operating system: Windows server 2012, 64-bit (English Standard version).
Other software:
IIS 7.0
MS .Net Framework 3.5, 4.0, 4.5
Database: MS SQL Server 2012 or MS SQL Server 2014 (English Standard version, 15 users,
without CPU limitation) or later versions

5 Removed Features None.
6 Known Issues or Limitations
6.1 Fleet Tracker Related
For Fleet Tracker, options relating to the tracking history have been grayed out as the functions
have not been fully developed. These functions will be supported in later versions.

6.2 Project Related
No Multi FTP UL/DL statistic results are available in the Custom Report (by Device) based on the
statistics mode that is unique to Thailand's customers. Dingli has no plan to solve this problem
currently as there is no request on Custom Report from that customer.

6.3 Custom Report Related
1. For Multi FTP service tests, if users define the condition to end the current Multi FTP service
test after all sessions end, statistic details for each session are not provided. Only the details
of each Multi FTP test are provided.
2. For PBM service tests, the Statistics Summary is provided, while statistics details are not
provided.
3. For Dial, CSFB, and VoLTE services tests, the system cannot generate combined statistics for
these three services as the system uses the same statistics template for all three services. It is
recommended that users perform statistics for each service one at a time.
