StationerY
This is a fast and simple wayto make some cool stationery
with a cool relief texture evenve minutes before you haveto go to a party. And the bestpart is you have everything
you need already. This is aform of debossing; embossing
(pressing in) and debossing(pressing out) are the twoforms of blind, or withoutink, printing. Die-cuttingmakes a hole the same sizeas the die. A hole punch
makes a die cut because itcuts the same size shapeout every time.
MATERIALS
Photocopy of template (page TK)or your own artwork
PencilBlank stationary cards and

3. Holding the pushpin with your thumb and pointer nger, press it through the lines in thetemplate (B).
4. Repeat until you have tracedthe template with pinholes.

It was a sad day when Polaroid stopped making instantlm. Polaroid lovers rushed to their computers to sweep upall available lm, especially the coveted 690 lm used forPolaroid transfer. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, andit does have a way of whitewashing the truth. Truth is, as coolas Polaroid transfer was, it was kind of a pain. You needed thelmwhich was about a buck a picture and not easy to ndas well as a 35mm slide negative and a day lab or land camera(which had been out of production for years). I discovered amuch easier and more versatile way tomake transfers withSheer Heaven paper. Unlike water-slide decal paper, which
basically leaves a lm covered with ink on the page, thealcohol suspends the ink from the Sheer Heaven and allows itto soak into the paperjust like our beloved Polaroid transfer!I recommend doing a few test transfers with scraps of paperand a cut ou sheet of Sheer Heaven till you get the hang of it.Even if the whole image doesnt transfer, you can still enjoythe effect.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Rinse out the spray bottle thoroughly and ll with rubbingalcohol.
2.Scan in your vintage postcard and open the le in a photo-editing program.
3. Enlarge the postcard to the desired size and enhance the colorsaturation. (A)
4. Type or draw your text in and remember to add names, date, and location in reverse image! Set printer to a ne-quality
