Broadmoor October Students of Month Treated by Brookshire’s

Brookshire's Grocery Store donated refreshments

for the Broadmoor Elementary School October

Student of Month recipients.

Brookshires provided cupcakes and punch for the

students and handed their Student of the Month

Certificates. Mrs. Hayes, the school counselor, or-

ganizes the event each month and thanks Brook-

shires for their diligence in the community.

The students that were recognized were: Ricardo

Mondragon, Diego Mondragon, Lucille Lang, Ashley

Kennedi, KeyAja Collins, Destiny Finch, Sakari Iver-

son, J'Nya Burgess, Eric Lee, Chelsea Glover, Lailah

Walker, Jamaree Scott, Zhatoyria Henry, Jackie

Burgess, Lauren Morehead, and Jordyn Stinson

Forrest Park School Celebrates National Parental In-

volvement Day and Thankful for Grandparents Lunch

On November 16-18, 2016 Forrest Park/Greenville Pre

-K celebrated how much they appreciate the very spe-

cial grandparents of their scholars with their Thankful

for Grandparents Lunches. (attachments 2-6 contain

photos from the lunches).

On Thursday, November 17, 2016 Forrest Park/

Greenville observed National Parental Involvement

Day. Some of the volunteer activities completed were:

reading stories, helping pass out snacks, cutting out

materials, and working with a small group. Volunteers

received certificates and bookmarks for participating.
