REPAIR EQUIPMENT OIL TOOLS LIMITEDPIONEER
The PIONEER Casing Roller is designed on the cam principle, where rotary motion can be used to create lateral force; in this case to restore damaged casing to its original drift diameter.
The PIONEER Casing Roller is constructed from case–hardened steel resulting in a rugged, wear resistant tool capable of withstanding the rigours of multiple repair operations.
The PIONEER Casing Roller features interchangeable rollers on every Mandrel size (see charts) allowing assem-blies to cover a wide range of casing sizes & weights.
IMPORTANT:- circulation is essential in order to avoid unnecessary wear on the rollers.
Recommended Spares1 x Middle Roller, each casing size.1 x Nose Cone, each casing size.1 x Set of ballbearings2 x Loading Set Screws

REPAIR EQUIPMENT OIL TOOLS LIMITEDPIONEER
The Pioneer casing swage represents an efficient means of re-opening collapsed sections of casing. In addition, the casing swage may be run through a section of casing to check if the I.D. is deformed prior to the production run.
Wear resistant tapers, leading and trailing, ensure that the tool is less susceptible to jamming in the casing. The lead-ing taper ensures a gradual increase in pressure applied at the area of deformation. Flow bypass slots ensure full circulation.
The casing swage is normally combined with one or more components (safety joint, drill collar, jar or bumper sub) prior to running in the hole.
In some cases it may be necessary to run a series of swag-es through a damaged section, each larger than the last, in order to gradually bring the casing back to round.
Casing swages are available to fit any size of casing. Please specify casing O.D. and weight when ordering.

The Pioneer F.C. Series Casing Scraper has been devel-oped to scrape away grime, rust, burrs and other obstruc-tions impeding the function of fishing, drilling and wire-line applications.
Ensuring a clear I.D. will guard the operator against pos-sible failure in the operation of Spears, Packers and similar tools which require a largely clean I.D. in order to grip properly.
A rugged one-piece mandrel incorporated with a series of durable hardened steel blades produces a low main-tenance, compact and easily assembled solution to I.D. surface degradation without compromising on versatility. Both rotary and vertical applications produce, through Pioneer’s specifically engineered blades, the same excel-lent results.
The Pioneer F.C. Casing Scraper also features tapered blades to assist free movement past casing joints and an arrangement of blades that maximises contact to a full 360º degrees, optimizing its scouring power.
The casing scraper is available in various sizes suitable for casings ranging from 2.3/8” tubing through 20” casing.

FCCS R/RS SERIES FREE WHEELING CASING SCRAPER
The Pioneer FCCS R & RS Series casing scrapers have been developed to scrape away grime, rust, burrs and other obstructions impeding the function of fishing, drilling and wireline applications, while minimising aggressive wear to the casing metalwork.
Ensuring a clear I.D. will guard the operator against pos-sible failure in the operation of Spears, Packers and similar tools which require a largely clean I.D. in order to grip properly.
The R type variant of this tool features a series of durable hardened steel spring-loaded blades that freely navigate past casing joints. These blades are mounted ‘free-wheeling style’ within a mandrel/bottom sub retaining mechanism. Additionally the avoidance of additional fixings simplifies the build-up and ensures that no screws will be lost down-hole.
In operation, reciprocation of the string causes a cleaning action of the full 360º casing wall, whilst rotation leaves the blades stationary on the spinning mandrel, minimising undue wear to critical surfaces.
The RS type variant in addition to all the features of the R variant, also features top and bottom stabilisers, offering an integrated solution to maintaining a uniform action.
Either variant is available in various sizes suitable for casings ranging from 2.3/8” tubing through 20” casing.

The Pioneer Full-circle Casing Brush is a workover tool designed to clean casing of grime, rust, burrs, etc., through mechanical reciprocation and rotation.
Ensuring a clear I.D. will guard the operator against pos-sible failure in the operation of spears, packers and similar tools which require a largely clean I.D. in order to grip properly.
Featuring hundreds of high tensile steel wire brushes the tools have 360 degree coverage before taking rotation into account allowing the tool to be operated by reciprocation only if required. The tool circulates both through-bore and through-annulus.
Fully compatible with Pioneer’s Full Circle Casing Scraper the tools may carry casing scraper blades instead of brush blades and visa versa. Also the tool may carry one tier of scrapers combined with a tier of brushes, should that be deemed desirable.
The casing brush is available in various sizes suitable for casings ranging from 7” through 103/4”. Other sizes can be designed on request. Top and bottom connections can be customized to permit maximum flexibility in running the tool.

PP SERIES PACKER TYPE CASING PATCH
The Pioneer PP series Packer Type Casing Patch is a dura-ble repair tool that has been developed to provide a means of effectively repairing tubing, pipe or casing for a pre-prepared fish without removing the entire string from the wellbore. The patch is intended for long, even permanent, service and as such the strength of the patch is equivalent to the tubular that it is repairing.
The tool is simple to assemble and operate consisting of a top sub with connection cut to suit the casing, a bowl with internal pack-off and grappling components and a guide. The guide features a helical form that assists the location of the fish. The patch in no way obstructs or constricts the bore of the casing/tubing under repair allowing unimpeded operation after repair.
The operation at its most basic involves the casing patch engaging the fish with its external grapple and then pack-ing off the fish to form a part of the tubing/pipe/casing string.
Though this repair could readily be permanent, if opera-tional procedures dictate otherwise the patch can be quite easily backed off from the fish.
The internal packer has been designed to seal in either di-rection with equal effectiveness. This tool is rigid along its length, which goes some way to protecting the integrity of the seal; under these circumstances the seal should remain leak proof for years. For high-pressure service a high-pres-sure variant of the tool is available featuring sealing suit-able for high pressures.
Pioneer also supplies the Pioneer PPE series Extended Packer type Casing patch. This variant has an extension between the top sub and bowl allowing a far greater length of fish to be patched. Both versions are available to suit all sizes of tubulars from 3/4” pipe to 20” casing
