LEAKAGE CURRENT CHECKMeasure leakage current to a known ear th ground

(water pipe, conduit , etc.) by connect ing a leakagec u r r e n t t e s t e r s u c h a s S i m p s o n M o d e l 2 2 9 - 2 o requivalent between the ear th ground and all exposedmetal par ts of the appliance (input/output terminals,screwheads, metal overlays, control shaft, etc.). Plugthe AC line cord of the appliance directly into a 120VAC 60 Hz outlet and turn the AC power switch on. Anycurrent measured must not exceed 0.5 mA.
