Subject: RE: Pitts Slip Lease

 __________,

Please consider my update to the Council Last night as the update you requested. I have copiedmy notes below.

Real Estate Initiative

The Mayor has instructed me to develop an inventory of all city owned properties, identifying allrevenues, existing leases, uses of land without leases, etc. We have a pretty good inventory fund

receipts for existing leases, however we have rights of way that people are using without benefitof leases and frankly we have some land that should probably be generating more funds than

they are. From a 30,000 foot view, we are starting with our most valuable coastal property, which are

looking at. I won’t mince words, because the property owners and lessees know who they are because we’ve been meeting with them. To lay it out to you, the big ones are Pitt Slip,

Commendencia Slip, Port Royal and the CMPA. On our northern border, the Airport lands areour greatest asset.
