Grab the peanuts and Cracker Jack and put on your favorite Pirates jersey for a game at Pittsburgh’s stunning PNC Park. With incredible views of downtown and Pittsburgh’s three river ways, it’s easy to see why this classic-style stadium was named America’s Best Ballpark by TripAdvisor and ESPN.com writer Jim Caple. While the traditional ballpark atmosphere remains intact, modern amenities and fan-centered comfort have been incorporated since first opening in 2001, including all-you-can-eat seats. Kick off your Pirates game at Federal Street’s Family Fun Zone then head inside to the park’s Kids Zone for continued family fun. Stay after the game to run the bases like your favorite players. For a true fan-focused experience, book a 90-minute interactive tour of the ballpark that gives you an exclusive look at the stadium’s hidden gems.

Join locals for a Saturday tour in Pittsburgh's popular warehouse district. Grab a great cup of coffee and a fresh biscotti, before taking a stroll through this combination farmer's market/street fair. Vendors, shops and exotic grocery stores offer everything from kitchenware to costumes and Steelers merchandise to fresh flowers and fish.

Also, make sure to stop by the original Primanti’s!

If there’s any one neighborhood which encompasses everything Pittsburgh stands for and is known for, it’s the Strip District.

What makes Market Square special? The eclectic mix of old and new, from the Oyster House, which opened in 1871, to restaurants and watering holes that have just

opened their doors. The unique attractions, from public art to quirky boutiques. The free events, from concerts to rallies, to one of the region's best Farmers Markets. And, the big events, like the annual Light-Up Night®, which by

the way, kicks-off the Holiday Season each year! And perhaps most of all—the people. Market Square is

Pittsburgh people watching at its finest!

Rambling over 70 acres, the natural habitats of some 6000 animals are represented in the Asian Forest, African Savanna, Cheetah Valley, and Tropical Forest. The zoo is also home to the PPG Aquarium, which boasts over 40 exhibits that include sharks, penguins, jellyfish, stingrays and an electric eel. At Kid's Kingdom, young visitors may pet many of the critters, from white-tailed deer to kangaroo, and explore the awesome animal-themed playground. Be sure to check out the brand new exhibit “The Islands”, which includes Visayan warty pigs, siamangs, clouded leopards, Galapagos tortoises, Philippine crocodiles, waterfalls, a sandbox, palm trees and other tropical motifs to create an island atmosphere

Boasting a massive 456 acres containing trails, pools, tennis courts, an skating rink (roller hockey in the summer, ice skating in the winter), sports fields, a man-made lake, and wonderful views on Overlook Drive. Many annual events are held in the park, including the Vintage Grand Prix races.

The fountain at the Point has been a Pittsburgh symbol since it was completed in 1974. An interesting fact

about the fountain is that the water in the fountain does not come from the three rivers surrounding it but from

an underground subterranean fourth river 54 feet below the surface of the Point. The fountain is

illuminated at night and at various times of the year it is tinted a different color. Pittsburgh is the only city in the United States that has a fountain as the focal point and symbol for the city. This is a great spot to photograph

fireworks, riverboats, the fountain itself, the Blockhouse, Heinz Field, and so much more.

Last but certainly not least, no visit to Pittsburgh is complete without a ride on one of the restored 1800s inclines to the top of Mt. Washington - just across the river from downtown Pittsburgh. There are plenty of great restaurants to choose from on top of this former "Coal Hill," and the stunning view of downtown (especially at night) was ranked by USA Today as the second most beautiful place in America.
