“Give a Book”

Thanks to Harlyn and Linda Bolkema who donated to the HCS library in honor of their grandson Calen. Calen chose the book Snack Attack. This book will now be-come part of our library collection.

NICSTO explained: WHAT? NICSTO stands for NW Iowa Christian Schools Tuition Organization. It represents schools throughout the NW Iowa region including Hull Christian School and West-ern Christian High School. WHY? The State of Iowa allows Iowa corporations and residents to receive a 65% direct tax credit for ANY contribution made to the school tuition organization - in our case HCS. In the 2018-2019 school year, 31 families re-ceived money from NICSTO! WHO? YOU, people with IRA’s or any C-Corp, S-Corp, LLC, or Partnership are all eligible for STO tax credit and can contribute to HCS or WCHS’s tuition organization! BENEFITS? NICSTO allows HCS to distribute money to tuition-paying families in our schools. This money comes from your donation. NICSTO allows you to benefit too. On top of assisting HCS and their tuition-paying families, you also receive a 65% direct tax credit. HOW? Contact Mr. Randy Ten Pas at HCS or Mr. Wes Fopma at WCHS. They will be able to explain the benefits that are there for all involved. If you have the desire to help HCS or WCHS and would like to receive state tax credit and federal tax deductions then this is for you! REALLY? YES! NICSTO has been around for years and has been a benefit to both the recipient (HCS/WCHS) and the donor (you). This is a great tax benefit to those who will be paying taxes on their income. WHEN? Donations are accepted until our allotted amount is received or December 31, 2019 whichever comes first. A memo must accompany the donation. You may cut out the NICSTO memo below or pick up a form in the Hull Christian office. HCS is allotted to receive $100,801 in do-nations this year. We currently have $13,650. Please prayerfully consider donating to this fund.
