• We felt that in our area –Kazhungady there was decline in agriculture.

• People are becoming less interested in agriculture.

• Excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and its impact on living organisms.

• The solution was to create awareness among people about the destruction of agriculture lands.

• Rallies were conducted to prevent the conversion of agriculture lands and minimize the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides .

• Seminars were conducted to the local people and farmers stressing the need for agriculture.

• We played a short drama to create agriculture awareness among the people.

• Pamphlets were prepared by the students and distributed to the public.
