Aircraft haptic active sidestick

Two Degrees-Of-Freedom joystick actuated by cable mechanisms that create control feedback from the aircraft or the other pilot.. All hardware and software are packaged within a single line-replaceable unit that interfaces with the aircraft’s flight control computers, while dedicated electrical links connect the pilot and copilot inceptors. This ensures both sidesticks move together in response to both pilot and autopilot commands, providing crew situational awareness equivalent to conventional pilot controls. Target: transport airplanes and helicopters.

Gearbox position sensor.Product/s: PS2P-CON

Typically, the magnet is attached to the end of the gearbox’s input shaft and the sensor is placed outside the gearbox’s housing.

Our sensor detects the position of the gear, such as first or second, and sends the data as electric signal to the Engine Control Unit (ECU). It generates an output voltage proportional to the angle of the input shaft.

There is an air gap between the magnet and the sensor, so there is no wear that otherwise would result in mechanic abrasion and electrical discharge sparks.

Benefits of contactless gear shift sensor: • Hall effect based: no wear.• Easy to install, maintain and replace.• Redundancy and self-diagnostics..• It is not affected by dust or moisture compared to
