Miscellaneous Breeds There will be Puppy, Bred By Exhibitor, & Open Classes for each of the Miscellaneous Breeds in each sex.

Winners from these classes will compete for Best of Breed & Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed in each breed. Each Miscellaneous Best of Breed winner shall be eligible to compete for Best in Miscellane-ous Class. All entries for Best in Miscellaneous Class shall be made after judging of the individual Miscel-laneous breed classes. In the event that the owner of a dog designated Best of Breed shall not exhibit the dog in the Best of Miscellaneous Class Competition, no other dog of the same breed shall be allowed to compete. There shall be no further competition for dogs entered in the Miscellaneous Class. Ribbons shall conform to Chapter 5, Section 2 of AKC Rules.

USE OF RAMPS A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior to judging. AKC approval is not required. The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table, or ramp). At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on the ground or on a ramp through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging: Lagotto Romagnolo, Retrievers (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling, Spaniels (American Water), Spaniels (English Springer), Spaniels (Field), Spaniels (Welsh Springer), Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen, Standard Schnauzers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terrier, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Finnish Spitz, Entlebucher Mountain Dog, Finnish Lapphund, Icelandic Sheepdogs, Norwegian Buhund, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, Spanish Water Dogs, Norrbottenspets (Misc). At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging, the following breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp, or on a table: Spaniels (Boykin), Whippets and Miniature Bull Terriers. At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging, the following breeds may be judged on the a ramp, or on a table: Mudi (Misc). The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Spaniels (Clumber), Spaniels (Sussex), Basset Hounds, Cirneco dell'Etna, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei, Chow Chows, and Keeshonden. This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation dog shows and any AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group, BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4– 6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and BIS competitions. Ramps can be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. In emergency situations where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund. Master Class Novice Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class. A first place in Novice without competition leading to a Best Junior award with competition would count as one win towards moving to Open at a licensed or member show. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition, if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open, after the closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class by notifying the Superintendent or Show Secretary prior to the judging of the class at the show. Open Class - shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who have won three (3) first place awards in a Novice Class or if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open in a licensed or member show. Master Class - will be for boys & girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won 10 Best Junior wins with competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and must change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year.

No entry may be changed or cancelled unless notice of the change or cancellation is received in writing by the Superintendent or Show Secretary named in the premium list to receive entries, prior to the closing date and hour for entries, except that a correction may be made from one age division to another, as well as, move from Master to Open or Open to Novice if a win has been disallowed or the Junior miscalculated number of placements, provided this transfer is made by the Superintendent or Show Secretary prior to the judging of the class at the show. NOTICE: Junior Handlers must include their AKC JUNIOR HANDLER NUMBER on each entry. You may obtain your junior identification number by calling the AKC, Judges Education Depart-ment (919) 233-9767.

Sweepstakes is open to all German Shorthaired Pointers, which on the day of the show, are 6 months of age, but under 18 months, of age. All dogs/bitches entered in sweepstakes MUST also be entered in a regular class under the same event number. Entries shall be made at the same time and on the same form as the regular classes. Sweepstakes class and age division must be indicated on the entry form under “Additional Classes”.

AMERICAN BOXER CLUB, INC. ANNUAL FUTURITY STAKE CONDITIONS ENTRY FEE $20.00

Judge: Patricia Boyd 1. The Futurity Stake is open only to Members of the American Boxer Club, Inc. and its Member Clubs except as herein otherwise provided. 2. The Futurity Stake is an annual event sponsored by the American Boxer Club, Inc. and is exclu-sively for the compe on of Puppies and Juniors from six months of age and under eighteen months of age. Puppies from six months of age and under twelve months of age shall only be required to compete against each other. Similarly, Juniors from twelve months of age and under eighteen months of age shall only compete against each other. Puppies and Juniors shall not compete against each other except as herein otherwise provided. 3. Bitches may be nominated at any me between the breeding and whelping dates during the six-month periods preceding and following the date of the licensed show. The exact dates for the beginning and ending of these nomina ons are determined by the actual date of the Futurity or by the management. 4. All Puppies and Juniors are made eligible for compe on before they are born. It is only through the Bitch that they are made eligible. Nomina ons of Bitches must be made AFTER THE BITCH IS BRED and BEFORE THE DATE SHE IS DUE TO WHELP. Only Puppies from nominated Bitch-es whelped AFTER THE DATE OF NOMINATION are eligible. THE DATE OF THE POST OFFICE CAN-CELLATION STAMP on the envelope containing the nomina on determines, not the date received by the chairman. A fee of $15.00 for each Bitch is to accompany the Futurity Stake nomina on form. 5. Fee of $5.00 will complete eligibility on each Puppy's nomina on for the Futurity provided said fee is paid ON OR BEFORE the date Puppy reaches four months of age. 6. Puppies must be six months and under twelve months of age on the ini ally scheduled first day of the licensed show, and Juniors must be twelve months and under eighteen months of age on the ini ally scheduled first day of the licensed show. There are NO A.K.C. CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS CONNECTED WITH THE FUTURITY. 7. Puppies from li ers from nominated Bitches are eligible even though sold to a new owner between the whelping date and the me of the Futurity WHETHER THE NEW OWNER IS A MEM-BER OR NOT provided the original entry was made by a member breeder and provided further that all the condi ons herein men oned have been fully complied with.

8. Two Stakes will be created for the Futurity. One exclusively for the Puppy compe on and one solely for Juniors. Nomina on fees received from the breeders and owners of Bitches and Pup-pies eligible for compe on in the Puppy classes, will become part and parcel of a Stake to be used for the Puppy classes only, and similarly like fees, received from breeders and owners of Puppies subsequently eligible in the Junior classes, will become part and parcel of a Stake to be used for the Junior compe on. 9. First Prize Futurity Winner Puppy, First Prize Futurity Winner Junior and Grand Prize Futurity Winner will receive trophies in addi on to the cash awards. The award for the Grand Prize Futuri-ty Winner will be a special trophy given by the American Boxer Club, Inc. Said special trophy will become the permanent property of the owner. 17. In the event that a change is made in the Show Date the ini ally scheduled date will govern the determina on of eligibility of nominees. Should the Show Date be set a er the ini ally sched-uled date, all nominees will remain eligible for the age categories for which they were originally eligible. Under no circumstances should a nominee be made ineligible because of the normal fluctua on in the American Kennel Club Corresponding Date Calendar. 18. All checks and money orders are to be made payable to American Boxer Club, Inc. and all nomina ons of Bitches and Puppies and nomina on fees are to be forwarded to the current Futurity Chairman as indicated on the official nomina ng forms. 19. Futurity Puppies and Juniors must also be entered in any of the American Kennel Club Regular Classes or any other class in the said Specialty Show following the judging of the Futurity. The Annual Futurity Stake is to be run under these American Boxer Club Condi ons approved by the American Kennel Club. 20. Entries for the Futurity and the Specialty are to be made directly with the Superintendent in charge with the appropriate entry fee for each as listed in the Premium List. Failure to enter Pup-pies and Juniors in the Specialty will result in disqualifica on for compe on in the Futurity. The Futurity and Specialty are two dis nct and separate shows. 21. A bitch may be nominated for the Futurity on or a er the whelp date if all the previous condi-

ons for the nomina on are met and if a fee of $100 is paid. This fee will be added to the cash stake described in item 9 and item 12. The deadline for this late bitch nomina on will be a post-mark no later than 2 months before the first day of regular classes at the ABC Na onal Specialty. This nomina on would make puppies eligible for the Futurity per item 5 if puppies are nominated before their 4 month birth date or per item 22 if puppies are nominated a er the 4 month dead-line. (Effec ve beginning with the 2021 ABC Futurity) 22. A puppy may be nominated a er the 4 month birth date of the puppy if the bitch has been nominated per item 4 or item 20, and if a fee of $100 per puppy is paid. This fee will be added to the cash stake described in item 9 and item 12. The deadline for this late puppy nomina on will be a postmark no later than 2 months before the first day of regular classes at the ABC Na onal Specialty. (Effec ve beginning with the 2021 ABC Futurity)

Owners of Futurity nominees must also enter said nominees in one or more of the Regular Clas-ses in the Specialty Show which will be held Thursday October 14, 2021. Failure to do so will disqualify such dogs from compe on in the Futurity Stakes. The Futurity Stake and Specialty Show are two dis nct and separate events. In making entry in the Specialty Show state that your dog is a Futurity nominee and include the addi onal entry fee. Acknowledgement in wri ng from the Futurity Chairman of receipt of final payment of fees, automa cally qualifies your dog in the Futurity, provided no no ce of ineligibility has been issued and full compliance has been made. Futurity nominees born from 11/6/19 through 11/11/19 were not eligible for the 2020 Futurity since they were too young to enter any AKC class. Those same nominees, according to item #17 of the Futurity Stakes cannot be ineligible due to normal fluctua ons of the AKC Corresponding Date Calendar. They are eligible to be shown in the 2021 15-18 month Futurity class but required to be entered in the AGE APPROPRIATE class in the regular classes.

Annual Maturity Stake Condi ons (ABC Only) Updated October 21, 2019

ENTRY FEE $20.00 1. The Maturity Stake is an annual event sponsored by the American Boxer Club, Inc, and is exclusively for the compe on of dogs who were previously nominated for the Futurity. The Maturity will be held in conjunc on with the ABC Regional Show. 2. Dogs will be eligible for compe on in the Maturity Stake at the second Regional a er the year in which they were eligible for the Futurity. Dogs may compete only at this Maturity event and not in earlier or later Regional events except as herein otherwise provided. It is not necessary that a dog have been entered in the Futurity to be eligible for the Maturity. 3. A dog nominated for the Futurity Puppy class (6 months and under 12 months) will be eligible for the Junior Maturity class. A dog nominated for the Futurity Junior class (12 months and under 18 months) will be eligible for the Senior Maturity class. Dogs in the Junior Maturity class and in the Senior Maturity class shall not compete against each other except as herein otherwise provided. 4. Futurity nominated dogs are eligible for the Maturity even though sold to a new owner at any

me a er whelping and up to the Maturity whether the new owner is an ABC member or not. 5. Past Futurity winners as well as Grand Prize Futurity winners can compete in the Maturity in the year in which they become eligible for the Maturity. 6. There are no AKC Championship points connected with the Maturity. 7. No Maturity nomina on fees shall apply. If a Regional is not held in a given year, then eligibility of dogs will carry through to the next Regional year. Under no circumstances should an eligible entry be made ineligible because of the calendar date of a Regional or the absence of a Regional in a given year. 17. Junior Maturity and Senior Maturity entries must also be entered in any of the American Kennel Club Regular Classes or any other class in the said ABC Regional show.

All Camping & RV Parking will be allowed in designated areas only as per Fairgrounds guidelines. All parking regula ons will be strictly enforced. Violators will be asked to move or their vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense! The Fairgrounds has dump sites for motorhomes. No open dumping. There are plenty of restrooms with showers at the fairgrounds. All exhibitors parking or camping are required to clean up a er themselves & their dogs.

CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTER-NATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS.

A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each recordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). A $3.50 AKC Recording Fee will be required for the first entry in Rally and $3.00 for each additional entry in Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 5). A $2.00 Event Service Fee will be required for each entry in 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy. $2.00 Event Service Fee will be required for each entry in FSS Open Shows. These Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club.

RETURNED CHECKS / INVALID CREDIT CARDS do not constitute a valid entry. The Superintendent will add a collection fee of $25 to the amount of each returned check and credit card. Subsequent returned checks and credit card from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a cash-only basis. Entry Fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturb-ances, fire, extreme and or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent.

No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made.

Refunds made for cancellation of entries before the closing date will be subject to a $3.00 administrative/processing fee per entry.

No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable.

Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor the Superintendent will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up the class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.

Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian’s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations.

The show giving club, the Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. PUBLICATION RIGHTS By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all rights to televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or the persons or animals participating in it or the results of the competition before, during or after the event, shall belong solely to The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, including the use of the names, likenesses or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the show and no such owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of any videotape or photograph of any person or animal participating in this competition.

AGREEMENT I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed compe on: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed compe on is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classifica on in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addi on to designa ng the class, specify the par cular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the me entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed a er the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registra on cer fi-cate indica ng that the dog is recorded in his name.
