The Liver Building, Cunard Building, Port of Liverpool Building, the Mersey Ferries and the Liverpool Cruise Terminal can also be found on the waterfront, as well as the Arena and Convention Centre at King’s Dock. City Centre Shopping Home to a great mix of shopping, if your visit is for some retail therapy Liverpool will not disappoint. Ropewalks Liverpool’s nineteenth century mercantile district, Ropewalks is one of the hubs of Liverpool’s night life. Chinatown Located near the city centre’s southern edge, bustling China Town is home to one of the oldest Chinese communities in Europe and has a bustling community. Famous for its Chinese Archway it has a superb selection of Chinese restaurants and supermarkets. St George’s Quarter Liverpool’s classical cultural forum with St George’s Hall, regarded as one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the world. It is also home to the Walker Art Gallery, World Museum Liverpool and Liverpool Central Library. It is situated opposite Lime Street Station. Cavern Quarter Encircling the world famous Mathew Street, this is a vibrant city centre area. It is the focus of Beatles history and home to Liverpool’s Wall of Pop Music Fame.
