• Copy the sentence or part of the sentence EXACTLY as it is written in the source.

Paraphrasing

• Paraphrasing means putting a section of something you’ve read into YOUR OWN WORDS.

• It should sound like YOU said it, not a college professor.

• If you don’t know what a word means, don’t use it.
