Plan for EvaluationBY JUMANA YASMEEN

I will be presenting all my presentations on WordPress. Not only is this another technology but it is very easy to use. It is good for publishing information which will showcase my ability. It is also like a blog, this will be a significant factor in making my evaluation not look like an essay. You can also work on layout on WordPress which will yet again showcase my ability.

Question One

Question one is ‘In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?’ For this question, I will be using Slideshare, this specific question will be short, readable and Slideshare is best suited to this. Slideshare is good for easy use of infographics, this is suited to this question as I will be annotating my magazine. There is a lot to explore in this question, Slideshare can handle large files which is another factor

Question Two

Question two is ‘How does your media product represent particular social groups?’ For this question, I will be using Prezi as is it based on a blank canvas, it allows me to showcase the different groups for e.g. age, gender etc… Prezi is appropriate for all ages and this relates to social groups. Prezi is like a mind map which relates to my magazine plan at the start where I had to think of the particular social groups.

Question Three

Question three is ‘What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?’ For this question, I will be using Examtime as this technology showcases creativity which will engage the distributers. Mind map showcase my ideas in a creative way. It allows you to plan your projects or subject topics which will make it more readable and engaging. It allows you to express information which is good as I will be writing about the media institutions background.

Question Four

Question four is ‘Who would be the audience for your media product?’ For this question, I will be using PowerPoint. My press pack will be short and snappy and PowerPoint is the best technology to present this. From the press packs, I saw that they were quite colourful and in PowerPoint it is easy to add colour.

Question Five

Question five is ‘How did you attract/ address your audience?’ For this question I will be using Slideshare as it is good for easy use of infographics and this will be well suited as I will be annotating my magazine in a lot of detail which means that I will have to focus on my layout so that it is readable-Slideshare allows you to create a readable layout.

Question Six

Question six is ‘What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?’ From this question, I will be using Timetoast as it allows you to put the exact dates of this process and allows you to divide the areas such as using Photoshop etc…

Question Seven

Question seven is ‘Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?’ From this question, I will be using Slideshare as it allows you to annotate in full detail to showcase the development. Slideshare is good for the easy use of infographics, this is well suited to the question as I will be including images of my magazine and annotating them.
