The Planetary Ventures conceptual master plan creates

a campus framework that connects a series of quad-like

building clusters with an open space and pedestrian

network. The site is dramatically situated on the edge

of the historic wetlands surrounding San Francisco Bay

and the main landscape concept revolves around an

idea of prospect/refuge. The landscape of this project

will reinforce its connection to existing development

to the west across Stevens Creek and to the south with

formal plantings of street trees. This entry landscape

will lead into the more lush garden plantings of the

courtyards created by the buildings. The plan also

provides an important open space and storm water

management area for Mountain View near the South

Bay. All buildings will be designed to achieve a LEED

Silver rating at a minimum.
