Tri square, pencil, ruler, tape measure

QC: Check measurements before cutting

Contingency week one

Contingency week two

Cut out the speaker front and back out Band saw and scroll saw QC: Check measurements after cutting

Finish edges by sanding away tool marks Assortment of files QC: no tool marks visible

Mark out location of speaker, dials, and leads on the speaker front

Tri square, pencil, ruler, tape measure

QA: use the prototype template to mark out

Cut out speaker hole Pillar drill with 60mm hole saw, g clamps

QC: check position of hole saw before drilling

Drill dials and lead holes 6mm drill bit, 3mm drill bit, g clamps

QC: check position of hole saw before drilling

Cut battery access door from back piece, drill hole and then place scroll saw blade through to cut the rest out

Pillar drill, 3mm drill bit, g clamp, scroll saw.

QC: Check measurements before cutting

Health & SafetyBand Saw:

• Wear goggles• Know where emergency stop is• Lower guards to top of work• Be aware of surroundings• Ensure dust extraction is used

Pillar Drill:• Wear goggles• Know where emergency stop is• Ensure guards are in place• Check chuck is tightened around bit• Be aware of surroundings• Ensure dust extraction is used

Scroll Saw:• Wear goggles• Know where emergency stop is• Be aware of surroundings• Ensure dust extraction is used

Hot glue gun:• Watch hands, glue could burn skin• Check wires of the product before using

Soldering iron:• Watch hands, solder and the iron itself could burn

skin• Check wires of the product before using

Spray Paint• Wear respiratory equipment• Use in open space

Belt Sander• Wear goggles• Know where emergency stop is• Lower guards to top of work• Be aware of surroundings• Ensure dust extraction is used
