Market situation in Japan- # of Python developers increasing- Among them, on the Web playground
Django developers are a great majority- Some developers use Pyramid
Plone is well known among Universities and InstitutesBut, no obvious increase of developers or users...
We wish to spread Plone usage
in Japan (or even more in Asia!)
So,
Plone Symposium Tokyo 2015
Held next year!!
Purpose & goals
● To increase the presence of Plone in Japan
● To let more people know about Plone in Japan
● For these purposes, it is important to hold an international event of 100 participants or more.
Targets
- Web engineers (Especially to Python engineers)
- Users who want to know more about Plone- People considering using CMS tools

Key factors to get more participants
● To have interesting sessions for engineers(ex. Guest speakers from abroad)
● Exposure to tech media● Enough promotion in engineer communities
(like PyCon JP participants)
