Metal anchors, expansion bolts, have to be selected to suit the type of slab. The distance between hangers and CD carriers depends on the thickness of the boards. (See table 1) Wherever CD carriers have to be connected to each other, CD connectors have to be used to achieve a proper connection. All abutments of CD carriers have to be staggered, and to be secured with hangers to the slab in a distance of max.100 mm from each connector. CD cross sections are connected to the CD main carriers with one level cross connectors. The plasterboards are fixed to the CD carriers with self tapping screws Black Star ® type 1, or similar. The maximum distance between the screws is shown on table 1. Wall alignments have to be executed according to the details of “Wall Alignments”. To achieve a fire rated construction, the wings of the cross connectors have to be bent down. If the ceiling weight exceeds 0,24 kN/m 2 , the wings have to be fastened to the CD carriers with self tapping screw type LN 3,5 9 mm. In case the load is exceeding 0,4 kN/m 2 also the SYTRA rigid – hangers have to be fastened with these LN screws to the CD carriers. In case access panels are integrated in this type of ceiling, the details of data sheet 9.1/D113,9.2/W112“Access Panels” have to be respected. One level cross connector

Installation guideDepending on application and on thickness ofboards, the CD main carriers have to be fastenedwith hangers to the slab with a distance of 1.250 mm on centres.Metal anchors, expansion bolts, have to be selectedto suit the type of slab. The distance betweenhangers and CD carriers depends on the thicknessof the boards. (See table 1)Wherever CD carriers have to be connected to eachother, CD connectors have to be used to achieve aproper connection. All abutments of CD carriershave to be staggered, and to be secured withhangers to the slab in a distance of max.100 mmfrom each connector. CD cross sections areconnected to the CD main carriers with one levelcross connectors. The plasterboards are fixed to

the CD carriers with self tapping screws Black Star® type 1, or similar. The maximumdistance between the screws is shown on table 1.Wall alignments have to be executed according tothe details of “Wall Alignments”. To achieve a firerated construction, the wings of the crossconnectors have to be bent down. If the ceilingweight exceeds 0,24 kN/m2, the wings have to befastened to the CD carriers with self tappingscrew type LN 3,59 mm. In case the load isexceeding 0,4 kN/m2 also the SYTRA rigid –hangers have to be fastened with these LNscrews to the CD carriers. In case access panelsare integrated in this type of ceiling, the details of data sheet 9.1/D113, 9.2/W112 “Access Panels”have to be respected.
