Agricultural films




Greenhouse films:

1-UV Stabilizer: Plastic kar agricultural films contain high quality UV stabilizer additives that protect them

from Ultra Violet ray. This film would remains more than 5 years thanks to added the certain amount of UV

stabilizers.

2-UV Absorber: This additive results in to have the longer duration of the film, It also reduces the numbers of

insects and could protects plants from some diseases.

3-Antifog Additive: This additive modifies the surface properties of the film which could reduce the fogging

in the green house atmosphere. Which causes to have less water droplets is better transmission to the green

house

4-IR Filter: This additive prevents IR transmission through the film and reduces the circadian temperature

swings. In this way, the temperature of the green house is easier to control and there will be up to 30%

reduction in energy consumption. Furthermore this additive can improve quality of the plants.

5-EVA: Blending PE with EVA copolymer imparts elastic behavior to films which can increase tear resistance

well as elongation at break of the film up to two folds

Improvement Physical Property with Caco3

Hi-cal is a Polyethylene Compound with Calcium Carbonate. It’s suitable for Film Extrusion and could mix

with any LDPE and HDPE products.

Hi-cal with using recommended ratios, it gives the following specialties during the film production and final

products as below:

• With its low cost, it saves the product and production costs

• Due to the high heat conductivity, it saves the energy cost.

• It develops the Printing process on film.

• Hi-cal and the included additives provides Self cleaning

• It prevents sticking problem during the cutting process

• In blow-molding applications, the higher thermal conductivity of the mineral results in shorter cooling

times, which lead to a higher output. Calcium carbonate contents in it typically 7 to 25%.

Applications:

*Film Extrusion:

It can mix with any LDPE, HDPE and LLDPE products. For Film Extrusion we recommend a ratio between

%20 - %50. This ratio can be changed according to the Machine Specialty, film thickness and the kind of the

Raw Material.
