PlatformBenjamin Madison is the front-running republican candidate. He appeals to traditional republicans, and some democrats. He has strong opinions but keeps open minded and deviates from the stereotypical republican pick. Being a former airforce pilot, he has experience with the armed forces, and their support. Madison also embraces a tight interpretation of the Constitution, which he holds higher than any political influence.Military: Madison plans on strengthening the military in an effort to be ready for any attack on American soil. He believes that a stronger military will discourage terrorism. By reforming government spending and investing into education and technology to further weapon development.

Immigration: Madison wants to repair the immigration system and strengthen the border. But opposes complete isolation. We can not turn our backs on the world outside our borders, but we must take care of our own first . Madison believes that by increasing border patrol and creating safe, and legal, ways to enter the united states will allow us to accept immigrants who will help grow this country, and live with us in unity. While also protecting our families from those who mean us harm. But believes in little leniency to those who enter the U.S. without permission, no matter their origin.

Abortion: On numerous occasions, Madison has admitted that abortion is against is ethical beliefs. He believes that all precious life starts at conception. But he holds the freedom of the United States citizens above his own beliefs. He believes that abortion is not to be withheld from people who want it. He believes that it is up to the states and their citizens to decide the legality of abortion, and will not use federal interference.

Social Issues/Rights: Madison sees todays social injustice as a travesty. He has been open that racial/religious bias has no place in government. By condemning or neglecting our neighbors based on religion, race, or anything of the like, is comparable to the enemy who looks to tear down our walls. We must not become anything like the terrorists who hold the innocent at gunpoint.. As President, he will face any issue of injustice brought before him and do all in his power to resolve it.

Foreign Policy: Madison holds firm on his policy of keeping our allies close. He would use non-combat support such as medical aid, rations, and equipment to those fighting their own wars overseas in an effort to keep our international neighbors safe. He will not send our valuable soldiers into a war that we do not belong in. Alternative Energy: The future of energy in America using both conventional forms of energy and innovative renewable energy to power our nation. By using new and clean energy along with coal and natural gas, we can remove dependence from other nations.Gun Control: As a strong believer in the 2nd amendment, Madison believes in the right to bear arms for every U.S. citizen. But in order to purchase a firearm, citizens must be registered for both a state and federal arms license, and consent to regular background checks. Threat of Terrorism: Madison has been outspoken that no outside force can tear down our nation. As President he plans to use tactical surveillance, strategic drone runs, and help from middle eastern allies, in order to target key terrorist cells.

Education: Madison will support higher education for all in order to compete intellectually witht the rest of the world. By raising funding for math and science, and raising state and national education standards, we will strive to make America an intellectual leader.

Economy: Madison wants to promote U.S. business by supporting homegrown companies. Helping create jobs that work at home and overseas will be a top priority. America is the land of opportunity and that opportunity belongs to every citizen.
