I am the Founder and Creator of PlayTheGroove.

I’m also a professional musician and enjoy introducing young adults to all kinds of music.

That’s why I started doing clinics.

In the process, I noticed something interesting...

In schools, students rarely get to learn modern music styles.

They learn the classic styles, sure.

But music styles and traditions have moved on—and students need to learn about these, too.

That’s why I created PlayTheGroove.

I formed a terrific group of educators, musicians & music industry execs.

We started with a vision of creating a worldwide paradigm shift in music education.

And created a new way to play and teach music.

The important question is:

What is this “new” way?

We start with great sounding tracks written in this millenium.

Next, we create full arrangements of the composition in our proprietary

We know that many school bands have trouble finding charts that match their instrumentation.
