The Facts• 75% of people 65 and older will eventually need Long

Term Care

• About 75% of all single people and 50% of all couples spend their entire savings within one year of entering a nursing home

• Custodial care, which makes up 90% of all home health care, is not covered by Medicare

• For every one person receiving care in a nursing home, there are four people receiving home health care

• 40% of the 13 million people receiving long-term care services are between the ages of 18 and 64.

The Challenge

1. Pay on your own (self-insure)

2. Stand alone traditionallong term care policy

3. Medicare / Medicaid

The Solution• Protective Centennial G II Universal Life with ExtendCare

Rider

• No-lapse guarantee universal life*

• Chronic illness accelerated death benefit rider

• Cost effective UL provides a death benefit

• Net of ExtendCare benefits paid

• ExtendCare rider provides benefits prior to death

• Up to $8,500 per month; up to 5% of policy face amount/mo.

• Up to 100% of the death benefit may be paid for chronic illness benefits

• Benefits paid on indemnity basis

* The policy will not lapse due to insufficient funds as long as the Lapse Protection Account Value equals or exceeds policy debt. The amount of premium and any charges determine if the lapse protection is in effect. Loans, partial surrenders, policy changes, and any delinquent premium outlays will affect the length of the protection. The lapse protection guarantees the policy death benefit only, not the cash or surrender value.

The ExtendCare Rider is intended as a non-medical supplement to traditional Long Term Care policies and riders.
