THE POWER TO DELIVERThe dynamic new Jazz Sport comes with a powerful 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine delivering an impressive 130PS.

The EX, SE and S grades are available with our efficient 1.3 i-VTEC petrol engine that develops a lively 102PS. Both engines have the choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or our Continuously Variable Transmission option. Our 7-speed CVT technology incorporates a sporty paddle shift and

ensures optimum engine output for your speed. The result is a smooth and comfortable drive that doesn't compromise on performance.

To further enhance efficiency, Idle Stop technology cuts the engine when you come to a standstill in traffic, automatically restarting again when you touch the accelerator. It may seem like a small thing, but over time it’s sure to make a difference.

At Honda, we’re committed to keeping people safe on the road.

We think the best way to avoid collisions is to be one step ahead, which is why we offer our Advanced Driver Assistance System technologies. They aid the driver by acting as extra sensors, warning and reacting where necessary.

The City-Brake Active System, for example, which is standard on all grades, monitors slow moving traffic in front of the car and gives an audible and

visual warning of an impending forward collision. If you do not react and an accident is imminent, the system will automatically apply emergency braking to reduce your speed. In certain circumstances it could even avoid an impact altogether.

Our Lane Departure Warning* alerts you if your Jazz deviates from a lane without indication and the clever Forward Collision Warning* monitors the area around the car to help you avoid accidents.

ULTIMATE PEACE OF MIND INTELLIGENT SPEED LIMITER*

Cleverly combines the existing adjustable speed limiter function with the Traffic Sign Recognition system to automatically set the speed limit to that which the Traffic Sign Recognition system detects.

TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION SYSTEM*

The Traffic Sign Recognition System identifies traffic signs and relays this information to you via a visualdisplay. Two signs can be displayed at any one time.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING*

If the car moves out of its lane without you activating the indicator, alerts will flash and sound, helping bring your attention to correct the lane drift.

FORWARD COLLISION WARNING*

Should the front camera pick up a vehicle ahead, the system warns of a front-on collision, allowing you time to take action.

HIGHBEAM SUPPORT SYSTEM*

The Highbeam Support System assesses the driving conditions around you and switches automatically between high and low beam.

CITY-BRAKE ACTIVE SYSTEM

1: While driving around town between 3 and 20 mph, to give you the best chance of avoiding a collision, this system can monitor the distance between you and the car in front.

2: If you continue getting closer to a detected vehicle, the Jazz gives you audible and visual warnings via the MID display.

3: If you’ve still not reacted, and a collision is imminent, the City-Brake Active System can automatically apply emergency braking to reduce speed as much as possible. In good driving conditions, it could even avoid a collision altogether.

The safety of your passengers, other road users and pedestrians has always been one of our fundamental design requirements. That’s why we have packed a

great deal of advanced engineering into the new Jazz, most of which comes as standard across the range.

VEHICLE STABILITY ASSISTMonitors all four wheels independently and calculates

the precise amount of power or braking force needed to regain control if traction is lost. In slippery conditions, it manages engine torque and braking to

each wheel, reducing speed to a point that allows safe and consistent travel.

DRIVER AND PASSENGER SRS AIRBAGSDriver and passenger protection includes two front and side airbags complemented by two full length

side curtain airbags, which help safeguard both front and rear occupants.

HILL START ASSISTHill Start Assist prevents roll back when starting on an

incline. Using a slope sensor, the brake pressure is controlled, keeping the car stationary for 1.5 seconds

after you release the brake pedal.

BRAKE ASSISTHonda Brake Assist is designed to provide full braking pressure in an emergency situation. This is achieved by the system 'learning' your normal braking style, so when abnormally heavy braking is detected, it reacts

by ensuring maximum braking force is applied.
