In Memoriam Please Make Your
Wishes Known
It’s so good to see you all
again. This last week we
were quite pleased to
have our first in person
meeting in a while. Next
week the Women’s Aux-
ilury will be having their own first meeting in many
weeks. As much as we want to spend time catching up
with each other we have one very important piece of
business to attend to. Worthy President Jim has tasked
our Chaplain to plan out our upcoming officers elec-
tions. After talking with the members present we will
be having our elections next week on June 25th. We
encourage everyone to come out and have your voice
heard in planning out the next year for the Club.
Good to see you again
Brothers, it’s been much too
long since we’ve been able to
meet and see each other in per-
son at the Club. As part of the
updates from the CDC we’re
now able to meet together in
person at the club. Management
has secured the proper cleaning
supplies to make sure we are
following the guidelines for local
business to open back up. This
last week we had our first Busi-
ness Meeting in Months. Thurs-
day July 2nd we will not be having a
Business meeting but instead you are
invited to a social afternoon get to-
gether to catch up. Please don’t for-
get we are required to wear masks
and maintain social distancing. Doors
will open at 1PM. More news about
upcoming events in the near future
once the upcoming year’s schedule is
planned out.

Fun Zone
Police Officer Bryant found a perfect
hiding place for watching for speeding
motorists.One day, the officer was
amazed when everyone was under the
speed limit, so Bryant investigated and
found the problem. 10 year old Dennis
was standing on the side of the road
with a huge hand painted sign which
said "Radar Trap Ahead." A little more
investigative work led the officer to
the boy's accomplice, another boy
about 100 yards beyond the radar trap
with a sign reading "Tips" and a bucket
at his feet, full of change.

Would like to let everyone know we will be meeting on July 7, to nomi-nate and vote on officers for the new year. All those who can make it would be appreciated. The men have opened their doors to start meeting again. It is mandatory that we wear masks during our meetings and keep our 6-foot distancing. We hope you can make it if you feel safe. We will not be using the kitchen. We recommend having hand sanitizer if you want to be thorough. The build-ing will be cleaned on Monday be-fore we meet says Jim and Sladen.

Sunshine Report
Helen Bitter, who has been a mem-ber of the club since 1972 has died on 6-9-2020. She was an extremely sweet lady. She left her two sons, Kenneth, and Bill behind.
Darlene Quick had an angiogram and a bypass surgery in June. She is home now and doing very well. Her daughter helped her during the time she was healing, and she would like to thank all who sent her cards and for the plant sent to her.
Mary Ellen Lung fell and broke her ankle back in April. She is at home and wearing a boot. Her brake has healed but her sprang takes a little longer. She is being careful and still healing.
Carol Ede has moved to Paintbrush. She will be in room #217. If you want to call her, her cell number will be active (559)284-4290. She is on lock down and cannot come to
our meetings at this time because of covid. She is doing well and will still be sunshine girl if she is able.
June Birthdays
This month celebrating their birth-days are Doris Bischel, Terri Natali, Renee Perkins, and Gloria Pitman. We hope you ladies will make a spe-cial time to celebrate your birthday. Make time to enjoy the things you can do. We still need to be careful when going out in stores, restau-rants, and doctor offices. Be sure to wear masks if you go out, it is con-siderate to you and to others. If you are sick, then just stay home. Hope you all stay safe and stay well. As long as the men keep the club open, we will meet according to the calen-dar of events.
Happy Fourth of July!
Newsletter is short due to no news from lack of meetings in April, May, and June.
Until we meet again, God Bless everyone!
