Calling All Singers! I would like to extend a warm invi-tation to all who may be interested in becoming a Cantor at St. John the Evangelist. I know these are uncertain times, but if you are finding you have time to dedicate

to the music ministry and you feel comfortable singing alone, please consider joining our Cantor ministry. Cantors should have experience singing in front of a congregation of people and have performed in some capacity musically. We hope you will consider this opportunity!

Please contact: Shelly O’Hara-Tapp, Director of Music/Liturgy St. John the Evangelist Parish.— [email protected]

Thank you to Jan Young for all you have done for St. John the Evangelist Parish in scheduling our Eucharistic Ministers these past few years. You stepped up to the plate when we needed you and we appreciate it. Best of luck to you and your family on your move. You will be missed! Fr. Will

Social Concerns would like to thank the volunteers from our parish who provided 30 hot dinners, lunches, individual bags of girl scout cookies, snack bags with prayer cards, and $5.00 WAWA gift cards for the homeless on Friday, June 26th. All of the donations were picked up by AHTN volunteers at the school on that Friday afternoon and distributed to the homeless that evening. AHTN has requested that we once again provide meals and lunches on Friday, July 24th. To do this, we need donors to provide 5 or more of the follow-ing: bag lunches that do not need refrigerated (with a sandwich, chips, fruit and dessert) hot meals packaged to go (meals of your choice with dessert)

$5 WAWA gift cards To donate, email Diane Coyle ([email protected]) and let her know what you would like to provide. Thank you for your generosity!

The registration will be done through a program call PARISH GIVING, an on-line registration system. A special acknowl-edgment goes out to Grand Knight John Perdoch and to Knights Len Kuchera, Joe Simancik and Bill Meyer who were instru-mental in seeing the project through from start to finish! Thank you for your dedication to Our Lady, the Knights and the parish of Saint John the Evangelist!

Fr. Will

I wish to express sincere thanks to the various parishioners who have contributed to maintaining and keeping our parish grounds looking beautiful! Through the efforts of a number of parishioners and the efforts of our Youth Ministry, much needed weeding and lawn work has been accomplished and I want to acknowledge and thank you for the many ways in which you show your dedication to the parish of Saint John the Evangelist!
