Welcome Visitors Welcome to our FTP site. You should be able to download the files from here without need for a User Name or Password. If you encounter any problems, please send me an e-mail at the following address, and describe the situation as completely as possible. I will try to help you. Lynne Irwin <[email protected] > You may want to bookmark this site, as the programs here are updated from time to time. To download the files, go to the Programs folder and right click on the selected file, then copy and paste it to your computer. For some browsers you select "Copy to Folder …" and some offer "Save Target As ..." to accomplish the download. MODTAG can read Dynatest files that are in F20 and F25 format. It can also read files that are in the AASHTO PDDX (pavement deflection data exchange) format. The PDDXconvert program can read most files that are in JILS, KUAB and Carl Bro native format, and convert them to PDDX format. PDDXconvert can also read and convert Dynatest F20 and F25 files, plus a few earlier versions. Thus, with the combination of these two programs, it should be possible to use MODTAG with all brands of FWDs and nearly all versions of their data files. If you have any difficulty using MODTAG, please let me know by using the e-mail address above. If the problem involves difficulty reading a data file, please send the file along with your message. The Programs folder contains MODTAG.MSI and PDDXconvert.MSI which are self-installing modules for each program. We recommend that you install both programs in the C:\MODTAG subdirectory, as this will avoid potential problems with PATH statements. If you have an earlier version of MODTAG on your computer, we recommend uninstalling it first, before installing the new version. Use Add/Remove Programs on you control panel to remove the older versions. Your data files will remain and not be removed. After installing the MODTAG.MSI module, you will find the full MODTAG Users Manual in your C:\MODTAG folder. The filename is ModTagManual.pdf. Prof. L H Irwin Cornell University 8 July 2010
