Planning to Can This Summer?
Take a fun, hands-on course to learn the essentials of home canning and
food safety.
Participants will:
- Learn the basics of canning safety using a boiling water bath
- Learn the latest evidence-based recommendations for home
canning
- Watch and participate in the canning of at least two recipes using
fresh produce
- Learn about preparation and storage for optimal food quality
- Receive research-based guidelines and recipes to use at home
