PLF International’s commitment to higher-than-the-

one of the most flexible, gentle, user-friendly powder

filling machines - for rigid containers - in the world,

with the ability to fill by vacuum (for products with

poor flowability), and by volume for products with

good flow characteristics. It was the first vacuum

filling machine to achieve ATEX certification.

customer’s application, providing a flexible and

technical solution to their requirements.

FeaturesPLF International’s range of filling machines for

powders and granular products have the ability to fill

by either vacuum, volume, timefill, or a combination of

these, dependent on the type of product and container

All filling applications have the advantage of gentle

product handling, high accuracy, with no moving parts

in contact with product during the filling operation.

Scoop Inserter

A simple, low-maintenance design with rapid container

changeover. The same diameter scoop with different bowl

depths can be handled without any changeover required.

No lubrication regime necessary. A camera detection

system with reject is available as an additional option

to ensure scoop placement.

Damaged Container/Particulate/

No Scoop Reject System

A simple machine which uses a vision system to detect

damaged containers, and to reject them prior to

entering the filling machine. A simple process, but

vital to maintaining the customer’s production and

reducing downtime.

To compliment their range of powder filling machinery, and

in response to customer demand, PLF has designed an

in-line gassing system, which reduces residual oxygen in

packaged product to minimal levels to extend shelf-life.

The PLF design incorporates extensive safety features

together with a unique gas recycling system which

reduces expensive gas usage significantly.

The system is sealed for safety, with analysers

in all areas, to ensure monitoring of any gas leakage

into the atmosphere. The system maintains oxygen

levels in the pre-gassed product (from the main feed

hopper), once it is dispensed into the container.
