Plidenta Herbal contains a total of six plant extracts that gently act on teeth and gums: chamomile facilitates the healing of wounds and has bacteriostatic qualities; sage disinfects and strengthens gums; cinquefoil prevents inflammation of the mouth and is gentle to the mucous membranes; lemon balm has antibacterial and antiviral properties; hamamelis helps with infections and injuries, and rosemary deodorizes and has antiseptic powers.

Since ancient times, propolis has been used in folk medicine. Over the past few years, the increase of its use for medical purposes has been noted. Studies have shown that using toothpastes based on propolis can decrease the formation of plaque, decrease the number of "bad" bacteria in the mouth, soothe toothaches as well as gum disease (periodontitis), and it can be useful in healing wounds.
