The start of your story should “HOOK” the reader and make them want to read on! Try starting your story with one of these different ways...
Telling a story can be as much fun as listening to them. But where do you start?
What type of story are you going to tell? How are you going to grab the readers attention?
Narratives can be Imaginative or Factual, Long or Short, Funny or Sad.
The different TYPES of Narratives are called GENRES (JON-RA-S). Choose what type of story will you tell when you plan your story.

INTRODUCE A CHARACTER
