What is the first thing that people think when they hear or see First Baptist Church of your city? When you see the Chili s Hot Pepper logo in the paper or on social media you probably think of your favorite food at Chili s. If I see a Freddies Frozen Yogurt logo I seem to think about a turtle yogurt sundae. My mouth is watering right now! These companies have worked extremely hard to brand their logo and that branding leading to a connection. The same banding can have negative effects on people. If I see the Chipotle sign in front of a business, it causes me to think of the summer of 2015 and their E. coli breakout. Just in the past two weeks the E. coli breakout with romaine lettuce has caused me to look at Caesar salad in a whole different way. Names are very important. We all know that a good name is more valuable and silver or gold. The name is a brand for all of us. We must have a name that glorifies our Lord. The church may not like it, but the church is branded. What you do and who you are says a lot about how the com- munity see you. I want to encourage churches to have the brand of Jesus Christ. I want to encourage churches to let others see Jesus in all the church says and does in the community. Wouldnt it be great if when the community read the churches name or saw the churches brand they would think of the love of Jesus Christ? My prayer for all of our churches in Great Plains Baptist Association is that our branding points to Jesus Christ. From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus.Galatians 6:17 NASB Let Others See Jesus In You, Brother Danny Jasper, FBC Altus, will begin a year long pro- gram at Midwestern College called FUSION Phase 12 week Boot Camp focusing on the physical, mental, & spiritual aspects of survival. JUNE REPORT

Making contacts the past few Sundays has been great. We enjoy the time we spend with the drivers. We learned about the new E Log law where they only drive so far & they start shutting down before time has expired.

We find more drivers carrying Bibles with them. Pray for us as we keep making contacts with them.

Thanks from Randy & Denise

SAYRE BCM NEWS

Dear Association, Summer is here and it is busy. I know many of you will be going to Falls Creek in the next few weeks. I just want to re-mind you of a great opportunity for students that have just finished high school. When the different age groups divide up of a morning, there will be a class just for those that have graduated high school called Next Chapter. During Next Chapter, students have a time focused just on them and the things that they will face in the next few months. For those going to college they will meet BCM directors and other students going to their college. It is a great time of fellowship and encouragement for these students. I would say that it is great to send a sponsor with them also, just so they can see what all is happening. So Don’t Forget Next Chapter for All High School Graduates. God Bless Benny Lockler
