Natural areas on the riverThe river Llobregat forms the ponds of Cal Tet and Ca l’Arana, nearly 90 hectares located on the right bank of the final stretch of the river Llobregat. A wide variety of landscapes can be seen there, including coastal ponds, reed beds, rushes, wet meadows, pinewoods and an attractive protected beach. A place with exceptionally diverse flora and fauna, especially water birds.

Remolar-Filipines natural areaMade up of the Remolar pond, the Filipines marsh, the Sant Climent stream bed and the beach. This is an outstanding place to see ducks resting or herons and egrets looking for food.

Can Dimoni pondsCluster of ponds located in the heart of the Sant Boi farming area where water birds can be spotted.

Can ComasHeadquarters of the Baix Llobregat agricultural park. A circular route marked out around this restored farmhouse reveals local farming activities and brings you closer to the agrarian and river ecosystems of the Delta.

Caserna dels Carrabiners and El SemàforThe partial restoration of these two buildings has recovered part of the history of El Prat and at the same time allowed them to be put to other uses as part of the circuits designed to enjoy nature around our Delta. Come and see them and you’ll discover a surprising place, surrounded by wetland vegetation and very close to a protected beach of outstanding natural value.

El Prat beach

El Prat beach combines the conservation of its biological values with leisure use. It is a fully-equipped beach, with excellent water quality.

There are three particularly interesting places here: the Municipal sailing centre, the CRAM and the Estany de l’Illa viewpoint, the highest on the Delta.

TO THE NATURAL AREAS ON THE RIVERTrain: to El Prat local railway station. In front of the station take the

PR3 to the Sud Cemetery stop. The natural areas on the river are 10 minutes walk away.
