Syllabus For Compulsory Subjects PMS Punjab Provincial Management Service (PMS) is the premier civil service of the province dedicated to the beerment and upliſt of the general public. PMS officers come from many streams, i.e, 50% through promoon from Tehsildars, Superintendents, Personal Secretaries, etc and 50% through open merit compeve examinaons held every year. However, the main chunk of officers are recruited directly into BPS 17 aſter qualifying rigorous examinaons {C.C.E of 12 papers} and scruny {post wrien tests of 4 stages} by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). 90 Days Preparatory Course: For PMS courses, NOA completes all the preparaon of all selected subjects at the me of admission in 90 days. Subject & Syllabus of PMS Punjab: The examinaon will consist of six compulsory subjects and three oponal subjects. However, the main chunk of officers are recruited directly into BPS 17 after qualifying rigorous examinations {C.C.E of 12 papers} and scrutiny {post written tests of 4 stages}

by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).

comprising précis writing, translation from Urdu into English, composition and usage of idioms).

3. Urdu Subjective 100 Marks (Paper of Urdu (Compulsory) will comprise of Essay Writing, Précis, Explanation of

Poetic Verses, Translation from English, Idioms and their usage.)4. Islamic Studies Subjective & Objective 100 Marks Ethics (For Non-Muslims Candidates)5. Pakistan Studies Subjective & Objective 100 Marks6. General Knowledge Objective 100 Marks7. Psychological Test and Interview 200 Marks
