THE HALL

The hall

All I see is the hall

staring me in the face

with its dark murky walls

and old wood floors

The hall is its own placeIts own home

It never moves

but Lt creeps

The hall has no lights

and the walls are very ragged

only the brave enter

But some brave or not

have to enter

its tube of terror

and look over their shoulder

to see if they are safe

or not

There is a spark of lightjust a glimpse of hope

at the end

Some call it foolishto go that deep .

But for me

It1s apartment #209

THE STILL OF THE NIGHT

In the beat 6f the day

and the still of the night

all the troublesjust start to take flight

to a placeyou will never seeBut it's all in the mind

of you and me

The night

in which we shareis the night in which we part

The nightis not just a time or place

it is ecstacy

in which we both

share and uniteinto a mound of expression

~:.

WHAT IS FEELING?

What is feeling?

Can feeling be white wine

in a long stemmed glass?

Or is feeling

a part of damnation

that locks you

in a state of silence?

Without a trace of existence

or appearance to the eye

of the world itself

Is feeling what you call

an emotion

or a bizarre freak show

that stimulates the mind

into its own world existence

STARS OF NIGHT

The stars of night

are the key to the universe

It holds secrets

that canlt be revealedOnly those who understand

the logic of their light

and their heavenly appearance

bring a warm feeling to me

when I sit on the mountain looking

trying to reach their world

of tranquil harmony

and everlasting powerto make me see their world

and corne as one

to spread light

on those who wish the same

THE STONE OF GOLD

The stone of gold

so shrewd and cold

waiting to kill

those unfortunate souls

The greed it brings

the power it holdsis not the power or glory

but the power of cold

BUTTERFLY

The butterfly

a graceful creature

filled with beautiful colors

and patterns

A shocking figmerit to the eye

as it catches the sun

with its striking irridescent appearanceIt's gift to fly amazes me

that something so GLORIFUL

would leave your sight

And knowing you are in a place

where only the beautiful

and graceful of creatures exist

CLOWNS AREN'T WHAT THEY SEEM

Are clowns really cheerful?

Are they really the best thing

to come into a child's life?

Clowns make me wonder

A clown's life looks

so happy and gayThey never seem

to have a sad face

They always seem so cheerful

If you could wonder

how a clown really feels

They feel sad someUmee

Do they feel low?

I always wonder

how they really feel

The impression they make

is very unique

in style and fashion

Clowns aren't what they seem

They feel the hurt

that we doand off the above

OUR OWN TRASH

On the streets

day and nightI am cold and hungry

with no appetite

I have an appetite

but not for food

it is to destruct

all of the fools

that have put usin this evil place

to sell their trash

and destroy our race

For the man to bask

and leave us

to sit in

our own trash

DEEP WITHIN ME

Deep within me

I feel I have takena brave journey

that only one suspended

in time and everlasting wandering

into the heavens

could feel or grab

Just a trace of my past

Would put him to rest

in eternal luxuryTo be fulfilled

with all there is to offer

in the golden city

of love and peace

I AM AIDS

(Public Enemy #1)

Why was I created?

I have taken loving,

caring people

off the face of the earth. Why was I made?

How was I made?

If only I could

do what I feel,

If only I could

make all my offspring die

not innocent people

Why me?

Why do I have to be

Public Enemy #1

Why was I created to kill?

To all the families

and people I hurt

I am truly sorry

Why me?

LIFE CAN BE TAKEN

Life can be taken

as easily as it can be given

As the heart beats

and pumps life within itself

it fills me with joy

and happiness to encounter

the flesh that I have created

And embrace it with eternal love

easily dispersed into one person

But as easily as it is given

it is taken away

as fast as a volcano would erupt

in rage and fury

MEANING

Love is ver~.~ very powerful word

It is cursed to all who abuse it

Love is a very hard word

to understand

If you want to be understood

Why does the word love hurt?

Why does love make you happy?

Only you hold the key

to let the real meaning corne out

Just let love conquer your mind

and let it flow thru youAnd make your own meaning

OUTSKIRTS OF THE UNIVERSE

On the outskirts of the universe

I hear cries, cries that you can't

hear but cries you can feel

If the wheel of life

were ever to stop turning

where would we go?

What would we do?How could we go about it?

If the pieces should fall

the wall would crumble

Deep within me I feel sanity

not of which I have ever

encountered before

It is only this sanitythat makes me what I am

I can be anything I wish

or desire

I can be an eagle

soaring through the sky

like an entity floating

suspended in oblivion

touching the heavens

and wandering tothe outer limits of the universe

Beneath me lies a soul

that has not been touched

and a heart that has been crushed

The wall is suspended to me

but keep this in mind - humanity

13

IN THE HEAT OF PASSION

In the heat of passion I lose

all sanity around me and become a

spirit riding on the crosswinds

of the world. But the passion that

.. I am in lust for is not for pleasure,

it is for humanity, the thing all

have forgotten. The feeling grows

bigger everyday and tranquil emotions

run wild.

The fire burns in souls of those

trapped in damnation - lost in the

arms of death itself. Once in thegrasp of the light they begin to

see that the passion has come torebuild the sanity which was lost

to damnation.

WINTER IS

Winter is

one of the most

beautiful times

of the year

Its soft downy flakes

are like angelssent from heaven

to protect use

from all the bad

in the world

Winter is

enchanting

Its power in onenot matchable

to all seasons

This silky cold

but beautiful time

is one of the best

to let all of your anger

and hurt out

and let it melt away

in the snow

WHY

The everlasting question is -

why? Why do people say why?

Why do we have cruelty in

this world? Why do we love?

Why do we hate?

That question is very

hard to explainThat answer lies inside

the heart of you and me

This is just a question

that we all can't understand

and figure out

Time is on our side

All the time in the world

HARMONY

When I look for harmony

I expect unity and tranquility

in a land where bondage

and love still exist

The land that I speak of

is beautiful in color

and harmony

Only if we were to visit

this enchanted land

we will find all of which we

have searched for in life

and essence

Only if we could take that step

into the time gap

in which we have created

If time could go back

we would hope to see

that everlasting light

The light that shines

in the sky

like a big ball of love

That same love

nourishes our land and

tries to spread themessage of humanity

THE FIRE OF FEELING

The fire that burns in the garden

can't be touched

It can't be put out

It will burn as long as

there is hate in this world

The fire will burn

to let all know

we are rulers

rulers of HATE

There are people

that will never learn

the true meaning of love

What will we do

in the promised land

Will the fire still burn

or will it blaze

POETRY

Is poetry just a bunch of words

written on a piece of paper or a scroll?

Is poetry a universal language

that is understandable to all.

large and small?

When I think of poetryI think of an iridescent cloud

of silk, or a field

of sweet roses

Poetry is not just all

the things I mentioned

It is more

More than the mind can imagine

Just open all your inner feelings

and let go of all sanity

STREAMS

All of our emotions

go into streams

All of it's told

All of it's seen

The stream of life

the stream of thought

the stream of poetry

can't be bought

in a store

or on the shelf

Reach for it deeply

and you will find it in yourself

The harmony of it

and the power it holds

Don't fight the powerbe bold

Just grasp the light

so pret~y and green

Open your hand and see

you've reached the stream

HUMANITY

From the ends of the earth

comes humanity

From the edge of the universe

comes tranquility

From the depths of the sea .

comes life in all

of nature's mystic descendents

Time is of a virture

only not realizing

that all of time

has been wasted

on nothing but treason and denial

All of humanity

lies in the heart of

all living creatures

All of tranquility

lies in the mortal soulAnd all of nature's

descendents lie

before the earth

LIFE

Life is but a trace

of existence

only seenin the beholder1s eyes

The eyes in which we all see

our past and present tides

To overcome all tranquility

and grab just a tasteof existence

A trace in which the universe

and all galaxies

here and beyond

feel the power that manifests

and heels the brink of humanity

to damnation

Life

The Sands of Time

The sands of time

Oh, how they flow

Each, grand

like a flake of snow

Drifting into

a world of time

Lost from the world

But only in your mind

Just think of

your eternal place

and lift your spiritof love and grace

To see what is

in your face

And notice that time

is seconds away
