The March meeting was packed with wonderful painted items to ad-
mire, projects to select, and shamrocks to paint. The evening was
packed with fun.
We had so many painted items for “Show and Tell” they filled two ta-
bles. There were many techniques represented and I want to do them
all!
Karen filled two tables with presentation boards, painted samples and
ballots for our upcoming projects. Even though we each had ten votes
(one for each month), it was difficult to choose. Thank you Karen for
all your hard work. Everyone enjoyed seeing the 27 possible projects
and we are eagerly awaiting the schedule of what won and when we
will paint them.
Liz presented a darling project painting shamrocks on dominoes. With
the show and tell and voting, we shorted her on time but I saw some
great shamrocks before everyone left and I know there were many
“Irish for a Day” domino pins worn on St Patrick’s Day.
Get ready for Spring. Susan has prepared a project of colorful flower-
pots for the April meeting. She is even including seed packets. Unfortu-
nately for me, if I have a green thumb, it is only because I got green
paint on it.
Don’t forget to bring something painted to share. It is so nice to see
what the group is painting.
Get your brushes dirty! See you April 8th. Bring a friend!
Carol

SPRING FLOWER POTS
We will provide the clay pots. Please bring
the colors listed below or similar colors that
you might have. A set of colors will be
there. You will want your regular painting
supplies, plus a #2 filbert and a good liner
brush. I did use some liner pens, black,
white and green, but if you are good with a
liner then you do not need the pens. This
should be a fun and easy project!
