Gathering Point of Sale can be an arduous process

• Hard to achieve standardization of data due to different distributor systems

EDI is the common model but not all distributors are programmed to transmit it

Have to pay for the EDI van fees Otherwise distributor must create custom file or you must modify

received data

• Hard to place value on Point of Sale gathering
