GENERAL INFORMATION Polish Deaf Sports Association is proud to organize 9th Qualifier for the European Football Men Championships – PLAY OFF – „HERAKLION’2019” at 02 September 2018 in Pruszkow, near Warsaw, Voivodeship Mazowieckie and warmly welcome all participants.

WARSAW CITY Warsaw (Polish: Warszawa; see also other names) is the capital and largest city of Poland. It is located on the Vistula River, in east-central Poland, roughly 260 kilometres (160 mi) from the Baltic Sea and 300 kilometres (190 mi) from the Carpathian Mountains. According to legend, Sawa was a mermaid living in the Vistula River with whom Wars fell in love. Actually, Warsz was a 12th/13th-century nobleman who owned a village located at the site of today's Mariensztat neighbourhood. The official city name in full is miasto stołeczne Warszawa (English: "The Capital City of Warsaw"). A native or resident of Warsaw is known as a Varsovian – in Polish warszawiak (male), warszawianka (female), warszawiacy (plural).
