Do you like polar bears? The polar bear has snowy white fur. They also have big paws with sharp claws. Polar bears also have webbed front paws. Polar bears live in the arctic coasts. The arctic coasts have lots of snow and the lakes are frozen. The arctic coasts is near the north pole. The polar bear normaly eats seals, fish and walruses.

All about the polar bear

Polar bear babies are born live in a snow den. A female polar bear nurses her cubs for about 2 years. Then when they have weaned the cubs they stay with their mother for a few more years until they are old enough to leave . The polar bear uses its fur as a camouflage because there fur is so white they can not be found. The polar bears enemies are humans.

The life of a polar bear

Big paws to help them stand on the ice and not slip or

Thick fur so they do not get cold and not freeze and die

Webbed front paws so they swim fast and so they can float in the water

Polar bears sometimes hunt and live alone

Polar bears can live about 25 years

Polar bears can swim 6O miles( 97 kilometers at a time)
