1. Oxidation / wash mark

removal


Oxidation removal

Oxidated car top coat surface prior to rectification polish.


Apply Polarshine C20 compound to Twisted wool pad.

Alternative:

To speed up the polishing process Abralon 4000 is recommended to be used on very oxidated surfaces.


Spread out the compound on the surface and start polishing.

Use 1500-2000 rpm for machine polishing.


Clean the surface and continue polishing with Polarshine F05. Use machine polishing with natural wool pad or white foam

pad and finalze with black soft foam pad.

Clean the surface with a micro fibre cloth.

2. Clear / top coat repairs

Polishing of P 1500 and finer

sanding scratches.


De-nibbing of clear coat with eg. P1500 waterproof sanding paper or sanding roses.


Step 1)

Apply Polarshine C20 to an orange foam pad and spread it onto the surface prior to polishing.


Machine polish and wipe the surface with a micro cloth.


Step2)

Apply Polarshine F05 to the black foam pad and spread it out on the surface.


Machine polish and wipe the surface with a micro cloth.


For sealing see chapter 5.


3) Large clear / top coat

panel rectification


Machine level the surface in grits P1500-4000.

Recommended products: Abranet soft P1500+P2500 damp sanding / polish

Alternative:

Royal Micro or Q-Silver Micro P1500 damp or dry sanding +

damp sanding with Abralon 2000+4000 / polish


Apply Polarshine T10 to a natural wool pad and spread it out on surface and start polishing.


Continue polishing with Polarshine T10 and a black foam pad for final gloss.

Wipe the surface with the micro cloth.


For sealing see chapter 5.


4) Hologram removal


3-dimensional hologram appearance on a surface from coarse rotational polishing

exposed by parallel wave halogen light.


Apply Polarshine VF 05 or F05 to an orbital polishing machine equipped with a black dotted foam pad.


Perform orbital polishing.


Inspect the surface with parallell wave halogen light device.


5) Sealing


For hand sealing apply polarshine UF3 machine / handglaze onto the micro cloth.

Apply on a max 1 sqm large surface/ sequence.


Immediately wipe the surface to final gloss with a dry micro cloth.


Alternatively machine polish with an orbital polishing machine and a black dotted foam pad.
