Creotech Instruments

The Creotech Instruments S.A. company was created in 2008. It was founded by three for-mer CERN (the European Organization for Nuc-lear Research in Switzerland) scientists from Poland. The main goal of the company’s activi-ties is to create its own electronics which meet non-standard requirements for users, both the most demanding ones (among the customers are scientific institutions from the whole world) as well as for the general market usage. The company realizes its goals in four branches: – Time synchronization systems – M2M systems – IP camera systems – Remote control power supply systems and IP measuring systems

PRODUCTS & SERVICES Time synchronization systems, where

we participate in a project conducted by CERN, which aims to create high accurate clock synchronization in a distributed sy-stem (for example in a LHC accelerator sy-stem at CERN),

It is worth noting, that equipment designed and built by Creotech participated in the fa-mous experiment, which aimed for high ac-curacy measure of neutrino speed. In 2011 scientists from CERN and Grand Sasso based on data obtained by previous generation measurement instruments announced the rebuttal of Einstein’s Special Theory of Re-lativity. With the equipment designed with significant contribution of Creotech, it was demonstrated, that the former results were false. Creotech offers equipment for VME, PCIe, uTCA platforms as well as stand-alone systems. Systems of time synchronization, where the company participates in project supervised by CERN,

Machine-to-machine systems. These are systems allowing wire and wireless com-munication between various devices. The systems consist of a computer (fully desig-ned by Creotech) and a communication platform (ethernet, GPRS, WIFI),

IP camera systems – developed with high support from the National Centre for Re-search and Development (Innotech pro-gram). Creotech developed a series of IP cameras (some of them are equipped in powerful processing units enabling on--line image analysis). The most advanced cameras designed by Creotech are used for example in astronomy applications (they are installed in observatories in Spain and Chile). In the future in cooperation with ESA, Creotech intends to participate in pro-jects related to space debris tracking and radiation resistant camera design,

Remote control power supply systems and IP measuring systems (for example IP weat-her stations).

AREAS OF ACTIVITY IN THE SPACE SECTOR

Payload Data Processing, On Board Data Management, Advanced Software technologies, Space Segment Software, Ground Segment Software, Power system architecture, Power generation technologies, Power conditioning and distribution, Space segment Guidance Navigation and

Control (GNC), EMC/RFC/ESD, System Analysis and Design, Space Debris measurements, Ground Communications Network, Automation & Robotics Systems, Automation & Robotics components and

MAIN SPACE-RELATED PROJECTSIn 2013 a new chapter for Creotech began – cooperation with Space Research Center and ESA. The result of this cooperation was a development of a certificated laboratory and an assembly line dedicated for space projects. Creotech Instruments is focused on this field particularly i.e. components assembly and subsystems installed on satellites. The com-pany is already carrying out an component assembly contract for ISS. Moreover, Creotech designs and tests both electronic and mecha-tronic modules. Space projects Creotech participates in:

CaSSIS, WR-SYNTEF, MAIT QUAL, ROBA 3, NEOSTEL, ASIM, AIS SAT, METOP.

The latest project is EO CLOUD. Within the fra-mework of the „EO Innovation Platform Test-bed Poland” project EO CLOUD, a powerful Earth observation data repository would be established in Poland and launched world-wi-de. The repository would gather optical data provided by satellites within the framework of such missions as: Landsat, Evisat, Sentinel and others. Sorcersoft.com S.A. is part of the SMT S.A. group. SMT S.A. is a holding of companies operating in three dynamically developing areas: integrated market communication, innovative technologies and e-commerce.

PRODUCTS & SERVICESSORCER is an engineering collaboration platform for computation, prototyping, multidisciplinary design and sharing nu-merical models in an interdisciplinary en-vironment.

SORCER is our solution for dealing with increasing complexity of engineering work. It simplifies the building of sophi-sticated and complex solutions by assem-bling them from previously defined parts and utilizing underlying engineering tools. In a distributed, complex, multidisciplinary environment SORCER shows its scalability and reliability.

SORCER Modeling Framework extends the SORCER platform and adds the innovative Distributed Modeling layer that allows en-gineers to create models that span across different engineering tools and execute in a distributed and heterogeneous environ-ment.

The SORCER Modeling Framework is all about Multidisciplinary Design. Its goal is to introduce high fidelity physics as early in the multidisciplinary design process as needed. Unlike conventional MDO suites it focuses on all design phases – starting from conceptual design through preliminary de-sign and up to the detailed design. It is the 3rd generation of engineering applications’ integration platforms. Thanks to its decen-tralized distributed nature and scalability you won’t have to rely only on approxima-tions. You can run full-fledged MDO using high fidelity physics (structures, stress, CFD etc.) in real-time and get higher quality de-signs in the same time you normally spend running simulations on surrogate models.
