• Trash, greenhouse gases, almost anything. Unfortunately, humans cause pollution from cars and factories and etc..... Exhaust, smoke, litter and cutting down trees. Throwing household garbage, using old vehicles, smoking.

The World Health Organization reports that 3 million people now die each year from the effects of air pollution. This is three times the 1 million who die each year in automobile accidents.

• People dumping rubbish and harmful poison is the main cause of land pollution.

• Land pollution can affect people by causing skin problems and some cancers and rubbish can be washed into rivers.

• We need to learn about the 3 R’s to reduce land pollution.

• Rubbish lying around can hurt animals and their habitats and poisons in the ground will make people sick.

• We could make posters about the 3 R’s and talk about what they mean to help people be aware of land pollution.
