Our Polo Ridge Group has six cou-ples playing bridge once a month. We need more couples to join us. Our level of play is average, no one in the group is an expert. If you enjoy a casual night out play-ing bridge for fun, we would love to have you join us. We would even allow you the option to quit if you don’t like the way we play, but we are sure you will have a good time.

Please call Tom or Joan Krick at

753-4990 to join the group.

The club will no longer be holding

inventory for shirts. You can now

take your favorite shirt out of the

closet and go to Custom Apparel

at So. Trace Shopping Ctr., and

they will apply the club logo on

your shirt for $12.95. You can also

buy a shirt there if you desire.

Pool Side Bingo is held every

Wednesday at Saddlebrook Rec.

Center pool. Pool Cards go on

sale at 9:30am and Bingo starts

at 10:00am . Cards are available

starting at 2 cards for $3. For

DO YOU JUST BELONG

“Are you an active member? The kind that would be missed. Or are you just contented, that your name is on the list? Do you attend the meeting, and mingle with the flock, Or do you stay at home, to criticize and knock? Do you take an active part, to help the work along, Or are you satisfied to only just belong? Do you ever go to visit, a member that is sick, Or leave the work to just a few and talk about “The Clique”? Think this over, member—you know right from wrong. Are you an active member, or do you just belong” This is a poem I have kept for several years. I stumbled across it the other day and thought if was worth sharing. I have no idea who the author was, but I am sure he or she did a lot of volunteer work.

We are more than half way through the Partner ’ s Golf season and I have

some good scores to report.

1st Place: Score 25

Eric & Barb Erickson & Al Mahar & Aileen Laing

2nd Place: Score 27

Tom & Leslie Smart & Pete & Pat Sarubbi

3rd Place: Score 28

Rich & Lynn Radford & James & JoAnn Jimenez

Please save April 23 and come to the Polo Ridge Club meeting so you can

pick up your money. There are a lot of winners from January and February

who have not claimed their winnings.
