New Poncho®/VOTiVO™ seed treatment helps ensure your corn seed is protected from the moment it’s planted all the way through the critical stages of early season development.

Poncho/VOTiVO provides a new biological mode of action that introduces a revolutionary way to protect corn seedlings and roots against nematodes. It contains a unique strain of bacteria that lives and grows with young corn roots, creating a breakthrough living barrier that nematodes can’t break through. When VOTiVO is paired with the top-performing power of Poncho, the result is consistently higher yields and a positive return on investment.

Poncho/VOTiVO comes to market at a time when insect and nematode damage may be on the rise in many areas. Several factors can contribute to increased nematode and insect populations, including:

• Reduction of carbamate and organophosphate applications.

• Lower soil disturbance from reduced-tillage practices.

• Planting the same crop year after year.

Poncho/VOTiVO advantages:

• With the higher powered 500* rate of Poncho, growers get increased control of wireworm, black cutworm, white grub and other early season pests.

• New mode of action protects against nematode damage from a wide range of species.

• The bacteria in Poncho/VOTiVO colonize and grow around the root to create a living barrier of protection.

• The product is very stable in the formulation, on the seed and in the root zone.

• Maximizes early season plant stands and vigor.

• Higher yields—current data shows a 6 to 8 bu/A yield increase over Poncho 250*.

• Provides a positive return on investment.

• Currently labeled for corn and soybeans — cotton** label is expected for 2011 season.

Introducing new Poncho/VOTiVO. The most trusted seed-applied insecticide joins forces with the most revolutionary, complete nematode protection on the seed.

*Poncho 250 and Poncho 500 are the 0.25 mg AI/kernel and 0.50 mg AI/kernel application rates (respectively) of Poncho 600 seed-applied insecticide.** Registered for use on corn and soybeans; cotton registration expected for the 2011 season.
