We take your donated, decommissioned technology, keeping toxic chemicals out of landfill. We then securely data erase and re-market it in bulk.

THE KICKER: PonyUp then donates 50% of profits to SecondBite, Australia’s largest fresh food rescue charity, who feed over 104,000 people in need, every single day across the country.

Our process is simple...

50% of profits to SecondBiteWith aligned values in resource redistribution and waste avoidance, PonyUp chose SecondBite as its exclusive charity partner and the beneficiary of 50% of our profits.

SecondBite is Australia’s largest fresh food rescue charity, redistributing fresh surplus food to more than 1400 community food programs on the frontline of food poverty around Australia.

Last year SecondBite rescued 19.4 million kilograms of nutritious food, that’s over 104,000 meals dished up to folks in need every day!

Last year SecondBite saved community organisations more than $30 million in food costs, enabling more funds for other essential services including accommodation, employment, medical and social programs.

At PonyUp for Good, we place a heavy focus on your privacy and data security. Our ‘full service’ disposal ensures that any data on disposed computer assets is irreversibly destroyed.

Our reuse and recycle wholesale partner, MRI uses the Blancco system, ensuring department of defence standards.

● Blancco has been tested, certified, approved or recommended by 18 national and international governing bodies. No other security firm can boast this level of compliance with the most rigorous requirements set by government agencies, legal authorities and independent testing laboratories.

● Blancco data erasure software erases to 22 different standards● Blancco’s mobile diagnostics solution includes 52 automated

tests to find errors on all Android and iOS mobile devices

Any equipment that does does not successfully undertake the Blancco wiping process will be recycled. Assets with no refurbishment potential will also be physically destroyed and recycled ensuring no data is able to be retrieved from them.

Who is PonyUp for Good?

Cat Harding is a communications and project management professional with more than 20 years experience across a multitude of industries. She has launched music careers, dressed 20,000 people for the Commonwealth Games and managed communications projects for London Underground, Pacific Brands and CitiPower / Powercor.

Cat has two beautiful girls and wants to come home every day proud of the impact she has made in the world so she can teach her children that one person with the right attitude can make a difference.

Her dream is to make ‘PonyUp’ as much the common vernacular for what you do with redundant technology as Googling has become the term for how you search for information.

Mardi Brown is motivated by a need to drive meaningful change for businesses. You will often hear her asking, ‘for what purpose are we doing this?’

Mardi is a trained Behavioural Specialist & Marketer and has worked as Head of People & Culture with TEDxMelbourne and in her own consultancy has helped businesses develop strategies and standards for their own workplace cultures. With a degree in Business/Marketing and 15+ years experience leading teams as a senior marketer across HR, Tourism & Hospitality across Australia and North America.
