Мета уроку:

Практична: практикувати учнів у вживанні Past Simple, Present simple, Reported speech; розвивати навички діалогічного й писемного мовлення, аудіювання, комунікативні здібності, мовленнєву реакцію, фонематичний слух; закріпити вивчену лексику, формувати вміння вживати вивчені лексичні одиниці в монологічній та діалогічній мові.

Let’s practice the tongue twister.

I’ll read the tongue twister and you name the sound which is repeated here 33 times. Yes, you are quite right it’s the sound [p].

The words will disappear from the blackboard but you continue reading the tongue twister several times (the pupils read the tongue twister in choir).

And now you’ll read it line by line individually.

Today we are going to talk about television in Britain, listen to the British teens choosing the movie to see, and an English TV hostess talking about famous British programs that are not well known in other countries. revise first conditional sentences and modal verb should/shouldn’t.

You have already known that Britain is well known for creating TV programmes. Most of them are well known in the world. But there are a great number of programmes that are all time in the UK and they are very popular among the British audience but we’ve never heard about them. I’ve discovered them all for myself too. So let’s listen to Ashley Tompson. In the short video you’ll see Ashley representing just 10 British famous programmes. The names of these programmes are mentioned in daily conversations.1) Read the names of the programmes and their characteristic features. 2) While listening to the video match the names of the programmes to thier
