Technical Specifications

All given technical data match European and international standards. Power output is given in kW or kVA. You will also find inrush currents data of RID generators.

Voltage and Frequency Tolerance

The power generators voltage and frequency are very stable within the nominal range of performance (DIN 6280/ISO 8528). Voltage tolerance between no-load and full load operation amounts to ±10 %, according to DIN 6280 T.10/ISO 8528 part 8. For appliances with compound transformer±8 % or with Voltage regulator ±5 %.

Safety measures-protective Separation

All conductive parts of the generator casing with protective contact of the socket are connected with the metal parts of the connected appliances via flexible conductors. USE OF RID SYNCHRONOUS AND ASYNCHRONOUSGENERATORS WITH A PROTECTION CLASS IP54

The protection class refers to a method of pro-tecting. This protection is verifiable standard test-method, providing cover against access to electric shocking parts and protects the genset against solid foreign objects or water inside the cover. Pro-tection class IP54 extends the life of the gensets since the winding and bearings are protected from

damaging effects of high humidity, dirt and dust. For this reason, the generators with protection class IP54 are widely used because of their sta-ble operation in all weather conditions. Portable gensets are often used for power supply during repairs of water treatment plants and fire brigade works.
