Portable Misting Station Step-By-Step Instructions We made our misting station about two feet high and 4½ feet wide. We chose this height to clear our tire planters, however we encourage you to measure the average area you'd like to mist at one time and adjust the size of your misting station accordingly. You can even make this taller for a fun overhead sprinkler you can run through! Begin by measuring and marking all of your station pieces. You'll need to cut the following: - 8 side pieces at 15" each - 4 standing pieces at 24" each - One cross bar at 4½' What You’ll Need: Make watering easier than ever this spring and summer with a portable misting station. For family fun in the sun, make the station tall enough to run underneath! Plus, this station can be quickly disassembled for easy winter storage. Other Supplies 12' piece of 1/2" PVC (you can also use scrap PVC. If you are purchasing new, ask the store associate to cut in half or fourths for easier transport) 3/4" PVC Male Adapter (will fit standard size hose) One 2" PVC Reducer (to fit the male connector to the 1/2" PVC) One PVC Blocker Piece 8 Standard 1/2" PVC 90º Elbow Pieces 4 Standard 1/2" PVC (T) Connectors Dremel US40-03 Ultra-Saw™ Dremel US500 4" Wood Cutting Wheel 150 1/8" Drill Bit (not included in kit) 4000 High- Performance Rotary Tool

Portable Misting Station

Step-By-Step Instructions

We made our misting station about two feet high and 4½ feet wide. We chose this height to clear our tire planters, however we encourage you to measure the average area you'd like to mist at one time and adjust the size of your misting station accordingly. You can even make this taller for a fun overhead sprinkler you can run through! Begin by measuring and marking all of your station pieces. You'll need to cut the following: - 8 side pieces at 15" each - 4 standing pieces at 24" each - One cross bar at 4½'

What You’ll Need:Make watering easier than ever this spring and summer with a portable misting station. For family fun in the sun, make the station tall enough to run underneath! Plus, this station can be quickly disassembled for easy winter storage.

Other Supplies• 12' piece of 1/2" PVC (you can also use scrap PVC. If you are purchasing new, ask the store associate to cut in half or fourths for easier transport)

• 3/4" PVC Male Adapter (will fit standard size hose)• One 2" PVC Reducer (to fit the male connector to the 1/2" PVC)

• One PVC Blocker Piece• 8 Standard 1/2" PVC 90º Elbow Pieces• 4 Standard 1/2" PVC (T) Connectors

Next, cut along your marked lines using the Dremel Ultra-Saw US40 tool and a US500 Wood Cutting Wheel. We always recommend securing your workpiece onto your work bench using a clamp or vice. Of course, securing cylindrical materials like PVC pipe can be a challenge. We created a cutting station by clamping two pieces of scrap wood to the table, wedging the PVC

in-between. This helps secure the PVC into place while also allowing you to feed the pipe through as you complete your series of cuts. You can also secure the PVC in a vice as well. With your pipe secure, plunge your Ultra-Saw tool equipped with the US500 wheel into your lines of cut, rolling the PVC slowly towards you to complete your cut. You'll notice that the abrasive edge of the cutting wheel leaves a nice, smooth finish behind in your pipe.

With all of your pieces cut, it is time to start drilling your sprinkler holes. Add as many holes as you like, though not too many so you can maintain the water pressure in your system. We spaced our holes every 2 inches. At this step, we recommend marking all of your holes first. If you are following our design, the placement of our holes is as follows:- Along the entire length of four of the 15" pieces and

half-way up the four 24" standing pieces. Drilling holes in PVC is easy with the Dremel 4000 tool and the 150 Drill Bit. Mount the accessory into the 4000 tool. Set the tool to a speed of 5-10 and plunge straight down into your marked lines. Let the speed of the tool do the work, excessive pressure is not required.

Join your two side frames together by securing the 4½' cross bar between the two (T) connectors. Attach your hose to the Male connector. Make sure the cap is covering the bottom (T) connector on the opposite side frame.

Set your station at your preferred spot in your garden, turn on the hose and relax while the watering is done for you!
