My Devices Portal - Wireless Device RegistrationInformation Technology Services provides the community with a My Devices Portal that allows you to register your mobile devices such as phones, laptops and tablets on the Marymount Wireless Network. You may register up to 4 devices. Once a device has been registered, it automatically connects to the wireless network so that you are not required to login each time. This document will help guide you through the process of registering your device on the My Devices Portal.

Please do not add other user’s devices to your Device List. Doing so will hold you accountable if that user performs any illegal or unethical action(s) on the wireless network.

Steps To Register Your Devices for the Marymount Wireless Network

Select the ‘My Network Devices’ link in the Portal under the IT Support Services tab.

Select the ‘Login to the My Devices Portal’ from the My Network Devices page.

Login to the My Devices Portal with your Marymount Username and Password.

Select ‘Add’ to add register a wireless device to the network.

You will need your device’s MAC Address. A MAC Address is a string of alpha-numeric characters, separated by colons or dashes, which uniquely identify your device. It takes the following format A1:B2:C3:D4:E5:F6. Instructions for locating your device’s MAC address can be found in the Marymount Portal on the My Devices Page.

In the My Devices Portal:

1. Type a Device name (e.g. Joe’s phone, Joe’s tablet, Joe’s laptop)2. Type the MAC Address in the Device ID field3. Type a Description (e.g. iPhone, Laptop, Tablet)4. Click Submit

After your device is added you will see a status of Pending. Although the device is listed as pending, it has been successfully been registered. This wording will be updated in a future release to indicate that the device has been successfully registered. To add another device, follow the same steps listed above.

After you add a device, you then have the option to Delete, Edit the name or description of the device or indicate if a device is Lost from this portal. Select the arrow next to Pending, to display these options.
